    Alan Pardew

I don`t want Pardew sacked, i want him to get the summer to build on what we have. But we need to see some progression next season, or else its not the right man. I just find it strange at the moment, as it feels like we have type A manager, and building a team of Type B players. If it was up to Pardew, i think we would not have HBA, Santon & Cabaye etc. Of course he want the two latter now, after seeing the quality, but i thing Pardew would have built a team of a different kind of players. I know it is speculation, but i just get the feeling he feels "forced" at times to include some of our players. As mention in this and earlier post, i want Pardew to succeed here, as he is at the end of the day a likable guy. But i have to say i see some signs that he is not the kind of manager to get the best out of the players we are recruiting at the moment. As i wrote earlier today, i think and hope the bit bellow can be a factor. And that we get it going in preseason to improve our overall play.
  2. not before they compile a list of people who've had similar problems across boxing to the same level of detail for comparison i'd have thought , otherwise what would be the point? Because it shows that professional athletes are capable of getting seriously hurt whilst playing competitive sports, regardless of the actual intent. Are there people who wants to ban pro boxing in the UK? We have a ban here in Norway, its beyond stupid! North Korea, Cuba & Norway, does UK really want to join the club Don't forget Sweden! What? I was sure it was allowed in Sweden?! You are hosting a UFC event next month, is MMA okay but not pro boxing?

Read through the first pages of this thread, happy times. This deal was awesome, wham, bam thank you mam! This lad can not stop scoring. Will be a joy to watch him blossom here.

The summer and preseason will make it or break it for Pardew in my eyes. We need to get the right players in, to fill the positions we are weak in pr now. And we need to work on our play, not how to stop others. We need to be able to take they game into our hands, set the tempo and dictate the play. I dislike the way we play at the moment, its simply not good football. I think we are wasting a lot of potential. I am a Pardew critic because of the way we have played this season, but are willing to give him a chance over the summer to put things right. We have showed great character and work rate this season, and won many matches we would have lost a couple of years ago. But we want to see progression, we need to take a step forward and play football, this have to be Pardews job over the summer. Get us to play a system that benefit the players we have. I hope we have a decent run in to the season, and if possible secure a European spot. When this is completed, then Pardew and the lads get this season on a distance, reflect on the, to be fair, many positive things this season. (we are 6th tbh) and build on it. If we secure a top 7, i think a lot of weight will be off the players and especially Pardews shoulders. Hopefully Pardew are up for it, as if next season starts where we are now, i am afraid Pardew is not the right man to take us the next step. Until then, lets get behind the manager and players, and keep the faith. There will be no good to get on the back of the players&manger at this stage.
  6. Happy for 3 points. But my god we play shit, its unbelievable.... Pardew need to get this team playing football ffs. Williamson, what the fuck have happened with him, so so so shit. Perch was easily the MOM today, happy someone showed up today. The football we play at the moment is worrying, we are one of the worst teams in the PL to play football tbh, can not hold the ball in the team. Can not control matches. Don`t know who to blame, Pardew or that we don`t have players that are as good as it sounds....
  7. It will be a regulare 442 guys. Jonas lb and Cabaye lw, do you think Pardew have lost it
  8. Fucking hell! :( Hope the lad pull through.... Stuff like this get you thinking.
  9. Swansea wonderful to watch at times.. Unbelievable how good they are able to play.

Cisse have to play at HOME against Norwich ffs.

Yeah, and if i just looking on the table, i am ecstatic. Problem is that i have watched every match this year. I am very happy with our position, but have doubts where we are heading with our football.
  12. Wont happen under Pardew. We might start off in a formation like that, but he will panic, and it wont take long. Back to 442, bring on Shola
  13. That looks so sexy, but it wont happen in million years (maybe when we get a new manager. )
  14. Looks descent, but we should use Cabaye in the offensive midfielder maybe?
  15. Obertan should be no where near or starting 11, i have had enough of him tbh. Most frustrating footballer ever!
  16. Why would Cisse play in the hole? Because Mick McCarthy say so. http://www.offthepost.info/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/mick-mccarthy.gif He is not Obertan basically.
  17. How many goals does he have to score from the RW before folk shut the f*** up with this second striker bullshit? It was bad enough in Novemeber. Classic I am not saying he played bad as a RW ffs. I just say we can utilize him better in the position that Obertan played yesterday. Our best period against Arsenal was played that way, but we had a no show in Obertan in that position. Its a waste. I just saying i rather have HBA in that role than Obertan. But i am content to have HBA at RW, but i feel he wastes his energy at times.
  18. That's funny. I thought that Ba had the best goals-to-games ratio in the league and Cisse has 2 in 3 starts. Yeah, its true. But in the last games, have it looked like he have thrived with the football we have played? We have slowly started with much more long balls, and Ba has faded. If we play the ball on the ground, he gets the chances, but he is no target man tbh.
  19. Its hardly the point is it? If so we should by another winger in the mold of kuyt/Park. Who can work nonstop up and down for 90 min. Using HBA like that is a waste imo. I might have got the wrong impression yesterday, but looked like Ben Arfa was running very ineffective around and tracking back. When he got back, they just ran around him. He should have played in the Obertan role imo. A manger should know how to play on the strength of his players don't you agree?
  20. FFS, Pardew is going on about his work rate. Funny shit. Pardew, please play Hatem to his strength. He runs so much needlessly just to impress you and keep his spot. He need to focus his energy offensively ffs. Pardew is trying to fit a pair of monster truck wheels on a Ferrari, madness
  21. Cabaye have played bad lately, but i can not for the life of me blame him. He was okay+ first half against Arsenal, and shit second. We play a direct long ball game most of the time, we are not playing at his strength at all. We might as well get Cattermole to play in his place if we are going to play that kind of football. Can sell Ba and Cisse to, Ameobi and Best are better in the air. Pardew and Newcastle are buying one kind of players, and playing a completely other tactic.

    Hoof ball

I think we are training too much on the defensive part of the game, would fit into Pardew's philosophy etc. this is why.... “Every Monday he [Pardew] comes into work having compiled a defensive report on the opposition. That’s his project, working with our video analysts to provide players with the best information. “This week, for example, he will talk about Manchester City’s angles of attack, their set-pieces, their movement, as well as focussing on individuals. The lads will be made aware of Dzeko’s strengths and weaknesses, the best way to nullify Silva, Milner’s incredible work-rate, everything. “That takes care of Monday to Thursday. On Friday it’s my turn when we look at ways to get at opponents. Put simply, Alan concentrates on how not to lose and I then find ways to win.” scary sh1t http://www.nufcblog.org/2011/11/carver-on-pardew-and-the-way-newcastle-run-their-week/#.T16UKc5Gxok That`s shocking like.
  23. Crazy to play Obertan, he is shit. Can not see what Pardew sees in him. Cisse should have played in the hole, at least he will put in a shift. He have worked his socks of the matches he have played for us. Pardew was so close to fielding my dream XI.
  24. Not to bothered about the result, the time it happened was most annoying. Obertan is a soulless fucker, what a waste of space! Williamson is shit too by the way. In the end, we did not deserve shit from that match, you might say football won in the end...
