We are 19th in the league, with no fit striker. Band-aid is what we need. If we where comfortable mid table we would probably not sign him.

I have always thought Wood have looked quite good against us. Or as good a striker can look playing for Burnley. Absolutt unit and a decent finisher. I know many of you are sceptical, but i actually look forward to see him lead the line for us and be on the end of some of our crosses.

Had Wood played for us against Cambridge we would have won. He is what he is, but I am 110% sure he will score goals and be vital for our survival. Honestly, we need this more that a 19 year old with under 30 matches under his belt, NOW. He will be on the end of many crosses from Trippier. One step at the time lads.

This teams problem is attacking a organized defence. I screamed at the TV yesterday when they where deep and we had plenty of players forward, everyone stood still. No movement, no initiative. We urgently need a cam and a striker that at least tries to find some space.

I personally find it conflicting, but have come to peace with it and accept football is fucked. Ashley is gone and I have some hope again. What can change my feeling with this is if there are loads of Saudi flags, people with MBS masks at our matches. Celebrate and support NUFC, not the Saudis. Interesting. So the PL have eventually identified this as a legitimate legal threat. 14 days to clean up the dirty tracks and shred all incriminating documents you say? Sure, why not.

If the courts rule that the information is necessary to the process and is according to the law that is a Saudi problem, not PL. I hope and believe PCP/PIF and Ashley have a strong case, but there can not be one set of rules for sovereign funds and a different for private investors.

I guess in case of a court case PL have to disclose what info they where asking for, and how its relevant to this process. Then i guess its up to the court to decide if its relevant and if so, if its sufficiently answered by PIF. If its not relevant or the court find that its sufficiently answered, PL have to reject or accept the O&D test and move forward. If not the ball is firmly back in PCP/PIF court. This is at least my extremely unprofessional assessment of how it can play out.
