Villa 2 down. If only we can get a winner, then the pressure will really be cranked up on them.
-
Not world class no but I'd have him in a flash at Everton.
-
It wasn't either of the Talyors at fault for the 2nd goal. It was Nicky Butt
-
In fairness, Boro are getting trounced, Pompey and West Brom both got beat last night, Blackburn drawing.
-
I don't know why our game is on TV, such games as home to Boro, home to West Brom, tonight. I don't know what Sky are playing at. Thought Newcastle Man Utd would have been miles ahead when choosing the games.

So far in the Everton game there's been: Happening.
-
It won't help loads but surely a slippier surface may make it slightly harder for Man Utd to get into top gear?

Newcastle 1-0 Man Utd Smith [88']

The only chance of getting a decent result (I'm not sure if I mean points-wise, or keeping the game close) is to go in with the right attitude, which will be a big ask. The players are human beings, and if Man Utd score early on then it's a huge test for anyone, even those of big personalities. If the team can harass their players, and keep their chins up, along with Man Utd not being on top form, then you have chance. A lot of ifs, though.

Can't see us winning tonight, even though we ought to be imo. Have a feeling we'll turn in an awful performance like we did at Wigan earlier in the season. Also, I see Allardyce is moaning about how the ref should watch out for Cahill; not only does it show he's clearly concerned, he's best off using his time sorting out his mediocre side. Along with wanting revenge for robbing a win at Goodison on the opening day, I hope we destroy them.

Me neither, but the tone of this OP is a bit weird, not sure why we all need a 'lesson in football'! Aye that's the bit that narks me as well.
-
Same, forums aren't meant to be a place where everyone agrees, surely. Pretty scathing though to say someone's dad who has a lot of footballing-related experience "knows f*** all". Otherwise, the debate is healthy.

To be honest results have hardly been conspiring against you much, it's been pretty mixed I'd say for the most part.
-
What do you get if it comes off?

Tommy Smith to the rescue for GG potentially :colo:

Why do I try?

Sounds like what happens to me every week. I am the anti-christ of betting. Yep exactly. Everyone has their bad bits of luck but some of the things I experience are beyond a joke due to their consistent nature Not looking too bad bar Ipswich.
-
The thing is, they have the players (not strength in depth, but their first team is good). Questions have to be asked how they can consistently play so s**t. This patch they're having was always going to come, it was a matter of when the undeserved scrappy victories dried up.

Bury now 2 down at home to 10 man Chesterfield. Good work lads, you f***ing idiots.
-
Crewe behind within 20..... Come on lads, clean sweep.
-
Bury, Crewe, MK Dons, QPR. Bury concede within 2 minutes

Yet you have no reply, what a suprise. No-one has denied that teams around Newcastle could move up. It's your reasoning for future projections that is letting you down. One such delightful example of logic being, "Hull have beaten us twice this season". Right-oh, so that means they're going to move up the table? I also still question why you were so insecure as to dig up a post well over a week old just to attempt to tell yourself that you were right.
-
Your incompetence really does stagger me. Massively large logic fail.
