Without producing some sort of corny comparison just to mention Everton, I do feel the way both our sides "defend" a lead are similar. And both quite worrying. Kinnear's static nature seemed to be apparent in the 2nd half, and although I'm no manager, taking off Martins was bizarre, as was Gutierrez's change. Perhaps because they've come back from injuries. Still, surely put N'Zogbia or someone one who can cause them some sort of problems. But, who am I to criticse. At least you can hold onto a 2-0 lead...

Any league table where 2 wins can move you up almost half the table, is one that I don't find very useful in making an accurate comment about end-of-season permutations.

Outstanding game of the weekend in Europe, and it seems its not disappointing.
-
Sigh ok then, Chelsea didn't. You get my point.
-
That wasn't much of a debate. I just think if they get a few injuries they are f***ed. Like when we had 4-5 out, take 4-5 away and they aren't as good, in fact theyd really struggle. As would every other side at some point.

Was it Stoke that were the causes? They got themselves into trouble when they played us earlier in the season, not the greatest set of fans. If it's City, then of course nothing will be done. Can't be punishing a team with money.

On their day Villa are the most exciting team to watch in the Premier League, aside from maybe Arsenal and Manure.
-
Nay Yes you can. Can only be watched live though at 10, as it's not On Demand like. Need to go to this link when it statts at 10 :- http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/match_of_the_day/ Thanks matey, haven't actually seen any of the action this weekend. (Apart from That-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named).

Nay Erm... Iplayer tomorrow? Don't have much access to a TV at the minute.

The test will come if, say, they do well and finish 5th this season, and it comes to getting a couple of real quality players in - not particularly CAN they do it, but how will they fit in? Will they maintain the strong team spirit that is essential for a small-ish squad like Villa? And on another note, it's refreshing to see the squad based on an English core - they could probably field a very competent all-English XI. How many teams can boast that, in this ENGLISH Premier League?

inter s**** today btw. yeah, roma too one of those days ey? nah man... i am inter admirer like you too btw. really moratti admirer cause his love to his club. i was just saying roma had an bad day too, and in both cases it was just one of those days when nothing seemed to work, wasnt stabbing at roma. Moratti is just what every club owner should be if you ask me, shows up at trainings, the players respect him and the fans respect him. Todays game could have gone to both teams, but Genoa had the better chances imo. Inter need to recoup and take on the next game against Viola with som passion. Didnt like some of the players attitude today, mostly Zlatans btw He look arrogant and lazy today. Ah well. Ibrahimovic is easily one of the world's best players..... if he can be arsed to turn up and produce his best.

Btw, without starting a new thread, can you watch MOTD2 live on the net?

*A big reflective sigh* Sounds so easy.

It pisses me off time and time again. Has Young killed Capello's pet hamster or something?

Must say I'm becoming increasingly impressed by Villa, today's result another in a period of forward progression for MON's team. To me, they're showing exactly what the Premiership is turning into - pace, athleticism and technique being absolutely key. However they combine this is with a relatively strong defence and a target man in Carew that can make things happen. My only worry is the size of their squad, a couple of additions in January and are they, *drum roll*, top 4 material?

Hello and welcome to [email protected]/3-0

My opinion will probably not be worth much? But all bias aside, I don'tthink they have the consistency or strength in depth to win the title. A serious challenge though looks on the cards.

Anyone else do that free 5 match score prediction at Ladbrokes? Went for Wigan 2-2 Villa Spurs 1-0 Bolton Pompey 1-0 Fulham (both of these before the Redknapp stuff) Man City 2-0 Stoke Hammers 1-2 Arsenal

Trust me, don't back Darlo! But hey, sure as hell hope they prove me wrong. Playofftastic
