  1. I know the feeling. It seems whenever my accumulator fails, it's always 1 off. Effing annoying!
  2. "And in shocking revelations, read the full details about Barton's further confessions, that it was HE who not ony shot the sheriff, but also shot the deputy coz he f***ing felt like it".
  3. We've got a great record against West Ham. I fancy a draw though. Agree on both accounts, but it's certainly an away game that we should be thinking "Yeah, there's a great chance to win this in the current climate". I'd take a draw tomorrow though if we can get the 3 pts vs Boro next weekend.
  4. I can see a very poor game, not a criticism of Newcastle, just can see a very scrappy game, with 1 goal winning it either day.
  5. Aye I mean they clearly aren't anything special, and is certainly one of those winnable away games. You were unlucky you played them at that time, and you're in a similar situation to us actually. A couple of wins down the road and whilst success isn't going to instantly come, I'd fancy either of our teams to go to Upton Park at the moment and at least get a point, if not 3.
  6. I have a sneaky feeling we might win at West Ham tomorrow for some reason, don't see any reason why not. If we did it'd be fantastic but I'd probably take a draw, to consolidate and keep things going along.
  7. Don't see the connection. Either you're racist or you're not, and in what way is a country's football fans indicative of the country as a whole? Someone can have racist thoughts, but have the sense to keep quiet on that front when attending matches.
  8. What about the quote about black and white blood in his veins or something like that?
  9. THE SUN'S undercover reporters yesterday captured amazing images of Joey Barton enjoying a pie, giving more weight to the popular theory, that Barton is responsible for world hunger.
  10. Haha, did you see Pulis' statement? Embarassing Wenger for changing tack, on Saturday he accepted Stoke's combative approach, now he says they hacked his lot down. How true!
  11. Lien's prediction of magical mystical mystery: Owen to either start or come off the bench, produce a very average performance, nick a decisive goal getting either a point or 3, and start the next 5 games regardless.
  12. I'm yet to hear the FA or Villa come out with a statement of "was it f***". I'd be impressed if they did, though.
  13. As a more general question, what leagues/competitions do people feel more confident betting on? Of course, infinite circumstances dictate choices, but generally, what leagues or competitions are people more comfortable placing their money in? Or, to perhaps phrase it better, what do people stay well away from? I thought the German league was relatively predictable, but results recently have f***ed that right up.
  14. No, it's a very good post. Italian teams got more points than English teams this week. Italian teams are therefore better than English teams. Italian teams will therefore reach the latter stages. Italy is therefore a better country than England. Don't dare question my logic.
  15. I think I'll heed the earlier advice about staying away from the CL for a while! 1 home win out of 8 tonight, christ.

He was helping Barack out man, no time for goals.... Must be said though, when he came on, he brought change.

    Ranger OUT! Banana mafia out,
  18. Does the Ladbrokes on Percy St do handicap betting when you go in? Not particularly a long-term better, so I'm not sure. Lyon -1 looks good as you say. Kiev do look good at 5/4, but then again Porto know the importance of the game. They might nick a draw.
  19. So, anyone got any tips for tonight?
  20. Far from being Ronaldo's biggest fan, as I think his attitude stinks at times, but I think these 2 players define the difference between diving and falling over easily. Ronaldo goes to ground easily when being pushed or something, and as said, acts like a spoilt brat, perhaps more dramatic than Gerrard, and thus is reported about more. Gerrard knows exactly how/when hes going to dive, last night was the latest in a long line of pathetic incidents. I just hope that soon, maybe, just maybe, the mass media will have the bottle to expose him as the cheat he is.
  21. I must say, I actually despise Gerrard more than Ronaldo, as Gerrard has the audacity to tell other players not to dive. As for the poll, there's no way they'd use the word dive. Wouldn't want to tarnish the golden boy's reputation now would they?
  22. Typical Liverpool fan's reaction. "I'll ignore what you said and point to some other incident" If I wasn't an Everton fan I'd hate Liverpool anyway, everything about them, their fans, their captain, their manager, gets my blood boiling. Of course, the mass media won't do anything, and will resume pampering unjustified praise on them before long.
