Don't remind me. He's supposed to be back for the Southampton game (21st), he looks class but he's just not been on the pitch anywhere near enough. Anyway, I'd happily have Odemwingie.
-
Think he's a good player personally. A lot of people don't seem to be keen on him for some reason.
-
So this probably isn't the best of timing, but was looking at the relegation odds just before this Colo news came about. 7/1. A few seem to think his potential departure would signal relegation (don't agree fwiw). Well then, lump on.

Is it just me or is Sanchez simply not near the player he was/was believed to be? I know he's had injury problems while at Barca but still, I've never really seen him play that well consistently for them, which is a shame as he obviously has bags of talent.

There seems to have been a massive fallout (far from just this article) to this Swansea defeat, for Chelsea. It was 2 awful, individual errors from a normally very reliable defender. Of course, Benitez barely stands a chance there given his distinct lack of popularity with the fans, but he'll do alright with them. If Roman would care to give a manager enough time to foster a togetherness and cohesion then they might just get somewhere. Just a thought, as outlandish as it may be. Abramovich's apparent obsession with Barcelona and how they play football is car crash ownership, and now he thinks it can be replicated by bringing Guardiola - a man completely and utterly engrained within the Barcelona system - to the club and expecting similar things to happen. As long as that Russian psycho pulls the strings, and as petty as it may sound, I hope Chelsea fail miserably.

Ramos banned for 5 matches apparently.

How are people going to react to the floated set penis to Optimistic Nut at the back post?
-
There were a couple proper hurled down at peoples feet which was pretty amusing, I don't think the ref saw it that way.
-
Nah, Delap has nowt on me.
-
Fuck the system.
-
Who cares if it's a foul throw? Christ. As long as people aren't standing on the goal-line 30 yards offside then I'm really not fussed.
-
Do we have to have a ref btw? Not that I intend on ending anyone's career, but I'm pretty sure we'll know ourselves if a foul's a foul. Can we make an ambitious move for Martin Atkinson?
-
Yorkie you power-mad loon. I put myself as a CM on the OP but you've deleted it. An unfit CM but a CM regardless. I'll be like Tom Huddlestone on this day. Spraying the passes about, ambitious 30 yard efforts... then I'll turn the Xbox off and get onto the pitch.

I can't remember the exact game, or games, but I remember Dyer tearing us a new arsehole a couple of times. I vaguely recall a goal at Goodison where he basically sprinted at our defence from the halfway line, looped it over our defender and scored?
-
Honestly mate, it doesn't matter what your usual preferred size of pitch is, skill, or fitness. As I'm not one to talk on any of those fronts. Come along.

Communist red.

 Easy-clutch design for quick-witted riposte.

Sorry mate but I don't think you could have put more cliche/media rhetoric into one post if you tried. Is he an important player for us? Of course he is. Is he our spine? No. He's a great asset for us, and has been for more than just this season when papers have latched onto his ability and been pining for him to move to Man Utd or Chelsea. The way he can control the ball with the upper half of his body is outstanding, I honestly know very few players in the world who can control a ball like that so well. He's let down by the fact he is, generally, a crap passer of the ball. He often shows a lot of nice touches but also a lot of the time he messes up a simple pass. I obviously don't for one second want him to leave, nor can I lie and say him going wouldn't be a big blow. But he's really not what I'd call the spine of our team. Osman is just as much, if not more, a "spine" in our team if we're talking about our play going through players. Jagielka, Baines, Pienaar are all just as much, if not more, a "spine" in our team. Not buying this idea whatsoever that we'll suddenly fall flat on our faces if he goes. There's little to support that notion.

No worries man, I took btts in the end @ 1.87, tidy profit and better odds. Infact I should say thanks cause you put me onto that after saying about the 2-1 thing. I had us not to keep a clean sheet tbf. Fuck me, can't even keep one against Cheltenham.

So has everyone now got a minimum fee release clause? Reminds me of CM 01/02 when I'd always put ludicrous release clauses in. Could well be totally inaccurate conjecture on the back of the Ba saga. Still, although we're obviously a better team with him than not and I absolutely wouldn't want to lose him, I think we'd be alright without him. Got 6/9 points without him a few games ago and were unlucky not to get more. Actually, reading more of it, it does sound like bullshit. Someone's thought, ooh, Everton released their accounts last week, Ba release clause, 2+2 = 5. I hope.

I should be sat here delighted with a 5-1 win but I can't get that substitution out of my head. And then he brings on Ze Joiman instead of Barkley?! I'd be absolutely pissed off to hell if I were Barkley. Can't even get a game when 4-1 up vs Cheltenham.

Apologies if I put you off the -1 Colin, I certainly didn't expect it to be so comfortable.

Someone's description of him:
