  1. Ba starts. (I just hate Chelsea that much)
  2. 2-0? Why not 4-0? Hell, Bradford are in the fourth tier, that's a x4 multiplier bonus, 16-0!
  3. Past half an hour, up until a few minutes ago, it was bizarrely slow.
  4. Sometimes you have to applaud how thick a footballer can be.
  5. This is really poor from Villa.
  6. Wasn't Delph supposed to be decent at some point?
  7. You've got to give the Bradford manager and players an awful lot of credit here. Villa were all over them in the 1st half - as you'd expect - but Bradford have done brilliantly in this 2nd half to turn the tide.
  8. Should've scored, they may well pay for that.
  9. He's one of the worst players I've seen play for us in years. And he regularly starts or us. On the right wing. Swap for Ameobi? Yup.
  10. He's one of the worst players I've seen play for us in years. And he regularly starts or us. On the right wing.
  11. He's become a very useful player indeed. He has always had the physical ability to do well but this season I've noticed a change in his attitude. I won't even discuss Naismith, he's utter dross. Too many players played shite yesterday tbh.
  12. Really like Mirallas - really takes the game by the scruff of the neck to make things happen. It's not an exaggeration to say how much we have him on the pitch for the rest of the season will determine where we finish. Get him playing regularly and we might have a chance of top 4, otherwise I think we'll float about 6th/7th.
  13. Not sure if serious or parodying the misguided mentality that you're not allowed to criticise your own team while also appreciating things have generally gone well this season. What a shit meme that'd be.
  14. 1st half last night was probably the worst we've played all season. I can accept things sometimes just not happening in front of goal but I can't accept a lack of pressure on the ball and constantly giving the ball away. I feel a bit sorry for Jelavic. Sure, he should have scored last night but he's generally being forced to play out wide for no real reason - he needs to be central. He drifts to the wing far too often, and he's also being compromised by Fellaini not being the same player he was pre-Stoke. Osman had a stinker (a rarity for him, to his credit), and Jesus fucking Christ don't get me going on Naismith again. Anichebe was our best player and he was only on for half an hour. It was also, as predicted, clear that we are a different side when Mirallas is playing.
  15. The saddest part of it all is that it's entirely predictable.
  16. Wow. 138 more games = 7 more goals. It's crazy though, because without Messi, Ronaldo's stat is staggering on its own. Messi's is just fucking preposterous. Which is exactly why I think it is so impressive. Ronaldo is a phenomenal athlete with an insane goalscoring record. And yet Messi is in a different league, both in terms of ability and the stats.
  17. For no real reason, I fancy both Lambert and Osman to score tonight. Lambert because he should take advantage of our at times comical defending, and Osman because we tend to play better football away from home which suits him better, and I think he's likely to be influential tonight. Still wouldn't be putting much on, if anything. Certainly don't fancy putting a decent wedge on the result. Saw us at odds on with a couple of bookies, awful value.
  18. It's a rational move I'm not about to be hip and zany and make Clichy my captain on the off-chance he plays and City keeps a clean sheet. 45 points so far this week with Fellaini, Lambert, and O'Brien Part II to come. Only egregious error was keeping Marv on the bench, could've gotten me a few more points. I'm just bitter I can't afford him, tbh. It does irk me though that someone who puts zero effort in can score more just because they have Van Persie, but I guess that's part and parcel of the game. Hopefully he gets injured. Not painfully or anything, just something irritating that keeps him out for a couple of months. A really, really bad cold.
  19. SSN interviewing an Everton fan. "Why are you travelling to Southampton on a Monday night?" "Because of you lot."
  20. Agree,I couldn't refuse evens on the Everton win though. Under Adkins I'd have kept keep clear however. I can refuse that. We got 2 points from away games at Reading, QPR and Wigan. We generally don't do well in away games where we are broadly considered favourites. Generally wouldn't bet on this game, at least not with any sort of significant money. Very hard to predict how they'll react to the manager change. Can easily see it going both ways.
