If you're a Stoke fan it is yes.
Considering they spent the 23 years prior to 2008 outside the top flight, I doubt their fans find it that depressing.
There's a thread on Oatcake forum that begs to differ. Pulis for all his good work getting them up, has spunked a massive load of cash on shit players. Four seasons in and today they win thanks to more throw ins. They've not even remotely evolved since they came up and it would take a similar sum to get them any further.
You just need look at Swansea and even Norwich as proof that you can play decent football in the Premier League after being promoted.
Best to see where they finish at the end of the season first like.
Oh my. I didn't catch the handball/disallowed goal. That's fucking astonishing.
And that penalty?!
And then Kaboul got booked for complaining, fuck me!
That's quite unbelievable.
If you're a Stoke fan it is yes.
Agreed, it's just annoying to see a shit club like Stoke having some decent investment when we get fuck all
Cry me a river.
This season has been particularly bad. I don't think it's a case of there being increased scrutiny (i.e. the media), I really think they've been that bad.
How can you respect referees who are giving utterly ridiculous decisions week after week, displaying little to no consistency?
Love how the media/fans refuse to raise expectations for Stoke, so that when they do alright - which they should be doing - it's seen as some sort of sensational achievement.
Hmm, very pleased I put something on Dortmund not to score again. Also, the result itself probably screwed plenty of bet slips. Not at all expected.
To the next games!
Had a good look at him didn't he,cowardly c***.
This and that dive last week, horrible cheating cnut Larsson like.
What exactly happened, I missed the incident....
When flying into Lowe with his elbow, essentially. Knew what he was doing.
Larsson is fast becoming one of the Premier League's top twats. After his ridiculously blatant cheating last week, and now a pretty intentional elbow on Lowe.
