This is what it boils down to. Emotions may have been running high but in my mind, part of his astronomical wage is to keep those emotions in check and act professionally. He looked good offensively in the pre-season matches. And if it keeps Shola out, i'd play anyone. Really, really can't see Gosling as an AMC. Out of curiosity, what do you see him as? Well, he appears to have bulked up a bit - defensive midfield I guess. He played centre mid, right wing, right back for us and was a mesh of meh-ness. I don't think he played more than 35 games for us and a lot of those were sub appearances.
