He looked good offensively in the pre-season matches. And if it keeps Shola out, i'd play anyone. Really, really can't see Gosling as an AMC. Out of curiosity, what do you see him as? Well, he appears to have bulked up a bit - defensive midfield I guess. He played centre mid, right wing, right back for us and was a mesh of meh-ness. I don't think he played more than 35 games for us and a lot of those were sub appearances.

I thought that. Some of them were really good interceptions as well. That was one of the most noticeable traits to today's game. A series of sharp interceptions from a variety of your players; wasn't just like one person was doing all the work. All in all I think you were fairly solid defensively.
