    La Liga - 10/11

A disappointing 72% possession away at Sevilla.

He's fine man. Just giving Sevilla hope before he returns in the 2nd half and crushes them.

    Iniesta doesn't run, he glides.

Is he underrated? Definitely. Don't really think he's underrated. I think pretty much everyone appreciates he's class. Love the impact he, as a 'right back' (I know, but still) has on a team going forward. Yes, he has brilliant players around him but his level of contribution is such an asset for Barca. The sheer thought of knowing that at any time he's running past you but being blind to it is a ballache for the defending team in itself.

That diagonal ball to Alves man. Causes havoc game after game.
  6. Unbelievable. Well, actually, no. It's entirely believable. Fuck's sake.
  7. The latest episode of my luck - 9 man Gijon have equalised in the last minute against Villarreal, my word.

9 man Gijon equalise. If I didn't have money on it, I'd be delighted because of how little Villarreal deserved to win that game.

    La Liga - 10/11

Villarreal have been absolute shite this 2nd half, now playing against 10 men Gijon.
  10. Samp screwed my chances of making anything more than a tiny profit from the earlier bets, but I'm feeling flush from that £2.40 gain. Therefore: £7.40 on Villarreal, PSG and, erm... Estudiantes.

    Messi

Some of Messi's assists this season have been breathtaking, especially that one to Villa away at Gíjon the other week. His passing and vision is certainly an area of his game that has improved massively. (I know your post was last year btw) There's something not right when watching Rooney play as well, he's definitely lost some explosiveness and he certainly doesn't excite like he used to. As with many English players he seems to have had his natural flair & his turn of the unexpected coached out of him in favour of working hard and holding his position. Yep. He's become a better, more all-round but less exciting player.
  12. He's very professional during the week but at the weekend, Roberto goes fucking mental.
  13. Kebe has a great burst of acceleration. Key to any chance Reading have of winning this, IMO.
  14. Love watching Yaya Toure surge forward. Absolute beast.
  15. Either Bolton or Stoke will make it to the final. This means regardless of the result, one of them will get a Waffa Cup spot, because Man Utd/Man City will finish in the top 5. That is, unless Reading beat both Manchester clubs.
