  1. Haven't bet on Barca in about a year. Do it tonight and they produce, to quote one of the commentators, "so far one of the very worst Barcelona performances I've seen in years."
  2. Bayern clearly not phased by having loads of players out.
  3. Leverkusen deservedly ahead. Barca have been pathetic.
  4. I'm a changed man nowadays Beren. The bookies are running scared.
  5. There's about 15 things I want to bet on. Loads of value.
  6. Barca -1 is odds against tonight. Think the bookies have overreacted to Messi's absence. Neymar to score (has a great CL record I think?) and Barca win is 13/10. Don't tend to bet on -1s but the -1 double for Barca (home to Leverkusen) and Arsenal (home to Olympiakos) is 7/2 with Skybet. Well worth a dabble.
  7. You might kick yourself occasionally for not cashing out but the value is terrible. e.g. you might have a 4 fold on at 10/1, say you stuck £20 on it. 3 have come in, you're waiting on the last one which is evens. They *should* offer £110 (@ evens = 220). However usually it'll be about 60/70 or so. Terrible value. Long-term, cashing out loses you money.
  8. Sunderland? They'll spawn their way out of it as they usually do.
  9. That's incredibly unlucky for Bournemouth. Already without 2 (presumably?) key starters and now their striker who actually is hacking it at this level gets crocked. They'll be that newly promoted team who play well, are in most games but not pick up the points they deserve and go down.
  10. Think of those starts in the League Cup though.
  11. Was a terrible game first half, goals livened it up but agree it wasn't a particularly good quality, a few of our moves aside. Great stuff tonight, actually thought once we hit back immediately for 2-1, we'd go on for at the very least a point. Thought we were well worth all 3 in the end. Barkley continues to be infuriating with his final ball/decision-making, but his confidence grows by the week. He'll be up there with the best in the league in a couple of years.
  12. Barkley is 5/1 anytime with Coral. Not even an offer. Odds just seem plain wrong. 3/1 elsewhere.
  13. Did Martin Keown just say Dele Alli is "a bit like Jermaine Jenas"? Honestly, put Keown down.
  14. It is, but IMO sides like Leverkusen, Wolfsburg and Schalke have an inferiority complex in Europe - not dissimilar to Man City. They're good for finishing behind Bayern but don't have the cutting edge at the very top level. Gladbach on the other hand have been plain shit.
  15. I don't get Spurs. They should be good but they're just not. State of that team, man.
  16. Presuming this is the day Chelsea come good again.

Hernandez shit and limited. Absolute garbage. A very tidy player and will bang them in for Leverkusen. A better than 1 in 3 record for Man Utd despite constantly being used from the bench, and scored countless important goals. That must be a wind-up.
  18. Seeing Altidore trying to compete at this sort of level is quite sad to watch.
  19. Novakovic looks good value to score for Slovenia @ 13/8.
  20. Hope some people at least got on the 10/1 for Iceland. Can't really legislate for Holland getting a man sent off in the first half. Still stand by what I said regarding goals. Czechs won 2-1. Today's losers include BTTS in the Germany and Denmark games.
