I must admit I didn't look at it from that perspective. More the fact he would of been completely isolated due the inept performance of the midfield during the first twenty five minutes second half, in that respect we missed Tiote far more than Ba or Cisse.

Pardew getting us into the top six would be a great achievement. Hughton getting us promoted and re-established was also a brilliant achievement. However both would possess their own qualities for different reasons, not sure why the two are being compared.
