It wasn't the system per say. We suffered from a chronic lack of tempo and cutting edge, everything in the final third was so lackluster. I also think despite a woeful shift it's harsh to single Shola out in such an awful attacking display from all concerned. -

We were a little unlucky but we looked clueless in the attacking third today, absolutely no cutting edge what so ever. -

What's up with Colo? -
So Swansea aren't actually in for him?
-
Man City, Man United, Arsenal and Spurs could do with another quality centre back.
-
Not really our type of signing is he? Age wise no, but IIRC he's out of contract at the end of the season. He isn't that bad man.
-
Left, good player.

Got to worry about Everton like, when Donovan leaves that's virtually all the flair in their team gone aside from Drenthe, who Moyes rarely starts. With the goals drying up for both Cahill and Saha they could find themselves in trouble if they aren't careful.

Gah, Porto have conceded fairly late on. -
What? On Sky they were talking about the teams chasing that fourth spot - including whether or not Liverpool could get it or not - and basically saying it was going to be a three way battle for the European spots. Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. I still expect us to fall away at some point but it's a bit of a joke to not even acknowledge where we are with 22 games gone. Meh, to be expected tbh. It's getting embarrassing on their part. It appears both Sky and ESPN have invested in this idea of the unbreakable top six, very similar to the way they did with 'big four' a couple of seasons back. Fair enough we've only just crossed the half way mark and we may well fall away, but to ignore us like we're some form of black sheep is pathetic. They simply won't accept someone is mixing it with the big boys no matter how average or flawed some of those teams are. Fuck them, long may we continue proving them wrong.

I also remember Dyer ripping Everton a new one during a Worthington cup tie, although they did go on to win the penalty shootout. He was a genuinly talented lad, it's such a shame he couldn't overcome his injury struggles. Jenas on the other hand never had the talent. Unless of course you consider short range back passes and square balls talent.

Liverpool are in the battle for forth, sixth place has become a vacuum where the team occupying it ceases to exist, or so it would seem.

You'll be able to witness the ground shake when the transfer window SLAMS shut.

Right with Milan, Udinese and Braga winning I need Inter for my 'safe' bet and Porto -1, Benfica/Benfica, Levante and Real -1 for my bit of daft. -
Yes Martin, that mighty three point gap looks unassailable with 16 games to go.
-
Arshavin didn't cover himself glory but I wouldn't say it was his fault like.

Messi puts Barca in front.

Injuries are mounting up for Man United now.

The Life and Times of 'Entertaining' Mario Balotelli
The Prophet replied to Ketsbaia's topic in Football
On first viewing in just looks like Parker got caught with the flailing leg. Upon seeing the replay Balotelli's momentum is taking him forward, yet he seems to stop and fling his leg back suggesting it's very much intentional. -
Considering the player and the form he's in, that's an unbelievable miss.

Again, didn't realise the next set of Premier League fixtures is a Tuesday/Wednesday job.

It is according to the schedule. Aye at 7. It's already kicked off. Ah right, in that case I shall obtian it by other means.
