  1. Vellios seems as though he's a canny player. Impressive.
  2. Barca trailing Real by six now, makes things interesting.
  3. Pretty blatent handball from Hernandez like. On another note, absolute stupidity from Jonas.
  4. Barca getting beat in Madrid, interesting.
  5. Typo, but should nevertheless condem me to another winless night.
  6. Arsenal Valenica - 1 Both Milan and Barca to score Shaktar/Porto to score more than 3.5 goals

Plus you've neglected to notice they've conceded more goals than ourselves. They therefore contribute to more even, entertaining games, which is what football is all about.

Aye but they consistently finish above us year after year, north-east top dogs and all that.

    Ryan Taylor

I don't understand how the second wasn't a mistake, if you're uncertian put it in the stands. Taylor has been relatively solid this season but he's had his fair share of suspect moments, a couple of which were brutally expolited by a quality outfit. It by no means undoes his good work of the previous weeks, but Santon has to start getting a look in, sooner rather than later.
  10. Didn't realise Basle were still in with a shout in the Mancs group.
  11. There's a difference between gently breaking him in and taking the piss.
  12. If I wasn't so lazy I'd have an extra ten points now, ah well still a half decent week.
  13. 'It's only the usual top five or six that are pulling away...' Errrr...
  14. The way Nani is playing at the moment he'll do well to gently tear Taylor a new one. Certianly a concern if he's on form though. It has all the hallmarks of a Man United win. We're playing well, they're only just grinding out results, Rooney and Nani are out of form. Worrying signs.
  15. Having watched this again I'm actually slightly annoyed we didn't get something from the game. We created and missed some great chances and conceded due to two individual errors and a questionable refereeing decision. On top of that we dominated large parts of the second half and limited City to three real chances from open play. Some real positives to take from the game though.
  16. Oh, I'll admit I only saw it as a stand alone post. Can I assume it was laced in sarcasm?
