Woeful player, cretin of a human being, get rid.
  2. Our dross tend to save their good'uns for Everton. Taylor (at the time), Butt, Duff are only a couple that spring to mind. Obertan will destroy them.
  3. Pardew on Monday Night football now. We're missing 'warriors' like Tiote and Shola tonight, apparently.
  4. The fact Obertan is starting annoys more than Guthrie, especially when we have a better player sat on the bench.
  5. Obertan clearly has incriminating photos of Pardew, fucking madness that he's still starting.
  6. Harper, Simpson, Perch, Colo, Taylor, Obertan, Smith, Cabaye, Jonas, Best, Ba I have however just made that up in case you you decide to ignore this line.
  7. I'd disagree with that. Stoke aren't a game that dictate play, hence their crappy possession stats. They're a very direct, very physical side who rely on their wide men, set pieces and throw-ins to create as much pressure around the opposition eighteen yard box as possible. While Tiote will always be a big absence I wouldn't say this is the one game I wouldn't want him to miss. If anything the fitness of Taylor was more key than anything else.
  8. 1. Preperation 2. Team spirit 3. A stable back line 4. Yohan Cabaye 5. A relatively kind fixture list
  9. We could guarantee at least a point if JH or Neil were to be on Stoke. Howay lads take one for the team...

  11. The links to 'bigger clubs' were inevitable given his quality. He's one of the very best in the league at what he does especially given he's now back to his best, that's why it's so imperative we keep hold of him. He'a arguably our most important player, protecting the defence and giving us a base on which we can launch our own attacks. Last season he had the strike of being suspended far too much, a year on he seems to have cut back on the bookings, sides will begin to show more interest. We have to hope his lengthy contract and a ridiculous asking price put suitors off, I can't see it though.
  12. Eurgh Monday night this week, Saturday lunch time next week, hate both kick off times.
  13. Spurs are great to watch going forward, but their defence looks shakey to say the very least
  14. Why is a player always shit or class? There's no grey area these days. Luiz is by no means the finished article but he's hardly shite. I remember him having a few decent games, in particular one against the Mancs springs to mind.
  15. Eh? 'I'm giving the man of the match to Scott Parker, because there's been so much quality on the park and he's just dug in.'
  16. He'll of been asked if he thought Guthrie was a good enough replacement for Tiote, he's hardly going to say 'Guthrie?! He was fucking shit' is he? It would be hilarious if he did like, well not for Guthrie.
  17. Well played. If you listen carefully you can hear the sound of VDV and Van Persie being furiously forced into fantasy football teams across the country.
  18. I actually sit and wonder if they're talking about the same game at times. Almost as bad as the Northern Echo's player ratings.
  19. The one positive of Best being out is that we're less likely to play a long ball game, whether it's HBA or Lovenkrands, neither are suited.
