The Twitter meltdown will be something when he plays in Palace's friendly tomorrow.

Guehi and a young backup forward is definitely a step in the right direction, but it's mad how long we've needed to upgrade that right forward position for. As I've said elsewhere I think it'll depend in sales or a favourable loan to buy option. Thankfully we don't struggle to score goals.

You'd think we hadn't just gone through a massive issue with PSR.

We always know this isn't the case though, granted he hasn't been too bad today. -

Surely we don't go into the season with Dubravka as number two? I winder if we'll revisit that Trafford deal. -
Think we'll probably look to exploit the loan to buy market if we can't sell.

Aye, as long as we get a CB and a RW I'll be quite content.

The window is massively picking up now.

De Ligt has potential, but he's not been great for Bayern like.

Chelsea are always in the race, that applies to any transfer.

Probably depends on sales or whether we can get creative with a loan to buy option.

Surely we'd have ended talks if this was the case?

Palace close to a deal for Maxence Lacroix, allegedly.
-
Definitely looked like he was stepping into midfield in possession tonight. The lad has a massive future ahead of him.

I like Solanke, but that's a lot of cash.

Loads to sort out on a deal this size. Overall price, a payment schedule, add-ons, etc. Most of the talks will be thrashing that dull stuff out, the media just like to dramatise it.

From the Graun: "Talks between Palace’s sporting director, Dougie Freedman, and his Newcastle counterpart, Paul Mitchell, over Guéhi are continuing despite Palace rejecting a £50m bid for the England defender. Newcastle are understood to remain cautiously optimistic that Guehi will start the season as a key component of their squad after the 24-year-old indicated he was keen to make the move, although Palace are insistent that the club captain will not be sold for less than their valuation. That is believed to be about £65m, although there is a recognition that with only one year remaining on his contract, a compromise could be struck."

They seem well connected to the youth side of things, but yeah not the most reliable.
