It hasn't gone on very long at all really. A week and a half is nothing, these deals sometimes rumble on for weeks.
-
Can't see us going near Logan Costa.
-
Sky loving the phrase "superstar".
-
Aye, Parish understandilably gasping for a bidding war.
-
The Sky narrative is incredibly transparent like.
-
It's a bit like those training photos. It's a bit of a flex. "He's still ours until you pay us what we want" sort of thing.
-
Tend to think the opposite. Seems very much alive despite Parish's posturing.
-
All of this playing out in public can get in the bin.

Giorgi Mamardashvili (now playing for Valencia, on loan from Liverpool)
The Prophet replied to a topic in Football
Sounds like Valencia will loan him to Bournemouth next year, then Liverpool will buy him the following year. -
Aye, though promising if they're still negotiating. The mood music seems to be the last bid wasn't far off, despite Parish's comments.
-
In his article, he said that's the assumption based on the interview, but it hasn't been confirmed.
-
I wouldn't say significantly, but there's a fair amount of business being done by those around us for sure.
-
You mean other clubs don't do deals in a matter of days?
-
"Newcastle had a verbal agreement with the MLS side, but the deal collapsed after the player and his agent demanded higher wages. In response, Charlotte lowered their offer to $9million (£7m), a figure that was deemed too low by Newcastle."
-
Interesting they're reporting we're still waiting to hear back on the latest bid though.
-
Pretty sure it's just an error.
-
Burn, Longstaff, Miggy. They'll all be getting hounded if things go wrong.
-
There's no maybe about it. We recouped at least £50 million from Minteh, Anderson and Ashworth. Just under £8 million for Almiron translates to under £6 million in the bank, it'd be poor business. I do agree more generally we need to become better sellers though.
-
Think that could have been Ashworth's plan for sure.
-
Not all of our work is being done in public.
-
Would also say with Trippier, having circa 14 fit players was probably a factor too.
-
Even if we'd sold Trippier, we'd still have had to sell Minteh and possibly Anderson.
-
Newcastle are reportedly interested in buying Logan Costa, thus entering into direct competition with West Ham. The Magpies would like to make him the last big recruit of this summer transfer window.
-
£8.5 million is a poor offer to be fair.
