If we tried to be as objective as possible and said Team X are 3rd in the league, with the second most wins and are in decent form. If all other results go against them, they still only need three points away to 2nd or at home to 14th to secure their objective, we'd fancy them. Like you say, it isn't a certainty, buy there's a very good chance.
