  1. Oh wasn't referring to our game, just chatting in general.
  2. So every season on the last day, there's usually a game that goes mental and at least one good hiding. 23/24 Brentford 2-4 Newcastle Luton 2-4 Fulham Palace 5-0 Villa 22/23 Southampton 4-4 Liverpool Arsenal 5-0 Wolves 21/22 City 3-2 Villa Arsenal 5-1 Everton Norwich 0-5 Spurs 20/21 Leicester 2-4 Spurs City 5-0 Everton 19/20 Arsenal 3-2 Watford City 5-0 Norwich Etc What we thinking this year?
  3. It's not a slam dunk because they've been useful away from home of late, but... The defensive injuries are piling up. They had their big season end celebration today, plus if Palace beat Wolves they can only finish 14th. It's a must win at home, the team and the crowd will be mentally tuned in. We're a really good team. You couldn't ask for a more perfect home game really. I think if we score early we'll batter them, but if we don't it could be a bit of a slog, even if we do go on to win.
  4. Nah we have the best fixture and a hefty GD advantage over two rivals
  5. Villa do have a rotten record at Old Trafford mind.
  6. I think he'll play, but we're good enough to win it without him. Much more confident looking at Everton's defensive injuries.
  7. We didn't look toothless in the first half mind.
  8. Think if we score early we'll be fine.
  9. There's a difference between being confident and thinking it's a gimme.
  10. If we keep this up this is they're there for the taking.
  11. Been the better team, hope we make it count.
  12. Not that it's worth much, but it always felt that it would be a game won and lost by set pieces.
  13. Sure, but when they realise his movement is restricted and he's not going to be his electric best, it doesn't pan out like that.
  14. Still think it was a good point. Kept our destiny in our hands.
  15. You'd imagine the idea is if we win, he won't play again this season.
  16. Probably a smart move given he's been really struggling of late.
  17. Scrap that, just seen Branthwaite went off clutching his hamstring.
  18. That's Branthwaite out of next week then.
