Poor for the goal, but he wasn't the only one. It was a bit of a collective failure that one. Longstaff, Burn, Bruno and Tino all could have done better.
-
Trippier at left back, Schar in midfield, Barnes up top and we're laughing.
-
Actually thought he had a solid start to the season, but he was poor yesterday. Absolutely no excuses to be benching Tonali next weekend.
-
We dominated the first 25. Wolves scored and we fell to bits, we were all over the place. Thought the second half was pretty even, but we lacked control for sure. Overall though it was pretty even and could have gone either way.

He was excellent when he came on. Such an asset when he's fit.

I know it's subjective, but I don't think Wolves did enough to win the game. Fair enough, we didn't either, but we were well worth a point. I think a robbery does us a bit of an injustice.

There's probably a few things at play at the moment... A disjointed pre-season - our better players still don't look fully match sharp. Bruno looks like he's lacking match fitness, while Gordon and Isak are improving but still aren't at the races. They're arguably our three key players. We're integrating a new back line - in the season we finished 4th, Trippier, Schar and Botman were all capable of picking up the ball and playing effectively through the lines. Schar is still there and Hall is very good at it, but while Tino, Burn and Kelly are tidy with the ball at their feet, they lack that ability to step into midfield or play a ball forward. It was compounded further when Krafth came in for Schar. We're not pressing as much - possibly a consequence of the first, but I've not seen us press yet. In mitigation, we had ten men v Southampton and had a game plan v Spurs, while we've never pressed as well away, but it's definitely off at the moment. Confidence - it seems that the summer has unsettled a few of the squad. Even putting the PSR deadline aside the likes of Dubravka, Trippier and Miggy were unsettled until recently. Throw in our shaky away form last season and we probably do lack a bit of confidence. Thankfully results fuel confidence and we're getting solid results. All of the above is fixable over time, but we definitely haven't performed to our best yet. Thankfully we have a manager who won't settle for second best and a quality group of players. Probably worth pointing out we've been quite slow starters throughout the Howe era. We'll be fine and if nothing else it’s good to see we've got our grit back.

I'd have take four points from Wolves and Fulham away, but we absolutely should be aiming to win. We have a really tidy record at the Cottage of late too. -

The coverage today was absolutely awful. They were gasping for us to get beat. The comments about the goals were absolutely bizarre too. -

We'll improve, that is not a manager or a group of players thar sound kije they're going to hide behind results. -

I'm honestly mystified at some of the reaction. Don't get me wrong, we were poor in spells, but we were also much improved in spells too. No where near some of the horror shows of last season. -

Honestly, I thought it was pretty even again with both sides having decent spells in the game. We just nicked it with extra quality up top. -

Also a big win in terms if our confidence away from home, a much needed early win. -

Is this how it feels to be Man United? -

Thought a draw would have been about right there, neither side really did enough to win it. That's the difference quality up top makes though. -

Absolutely no where near some of our away performances last season. Still not good like. -

I see this a lot, but Isak has to take some responsibility too. His touch and use of the ball has been unusually poor this season. -

A half of two halves that. Started well, kept the ball nicely, albeit we didn't create loads. As soon as they scored though, we were all over the show. Disorganised and rushed with the ball. We needed half time. Tonali and Barnes on at half time please. -

That's absolutely bollocks like, we were the better team until the goal.
