Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed

Do think the CBs will need to adjust to Ramsdale. Thiaw is likely expecting the keeper to come for the goal we conceded. -

We're getting bodies around him now and he looks much better for it.

What was this about? -
He's sensational. Though, made a rare error of judgement for the Everton goal.

Brilliant today, unflappable. Can really see his game coming on, he's a lot braver with the ball. Hope he keeps getting regular starts. -
Agreed. You could see the pressure release after we got the second and we began to play some really nice stuff.

The Pickford save that led to our first is how we imagined Nick and Elanga would link up. -
I still think he's class like.
-
Was there anything in him not going to AFCON?

Tells you the state this place is in when you're not sure what's satire anymore If it was a different poster I'd have been unsure too. -
Isn't he wanted by half of Europe?
-
I also disagree about the first half performance. Whether it was tactical or otherwise, we ceded possession and were camped in for large spells of the first half, reducing us to disjointed looking counter attacks. I'd think less of it if it hadn't become a reoccurring theme when we take the lead.
-
It's a bit pointless looking at spend without other factors such as wages and the value of the squad v the competition at the time the investment started. If you marry all of that up we've been largely punching above our weight for the last few seasons.

I think one of the most important things to Howe is that his players are tactically dialled in. It'll take some longer to get it than others.

Up until the Fulham game, they were in a poor run of form themselves, but they seem to have turned it round. -

Feels like a nailed on defeat, followed by a good showing v Spurs. -
I didn't even think he was particularly bad when he came on, tried a few bits that didn't come off, but didn't hide. That's it now though, as soon as be puts a toe out of place, he's going to get hounded. Looking at his time at Forest and his start here, I don't think he's suddenly forgot how to play football, it's more a case of getting him fully dialled back in.
-
Hard to fork am opinion of him on three starts and a handful of sub appearances. Would like to see him given a run in the sudd.
-
On paper at least we should also suit his skilset. It just hasn't worked so far, granted his head looks gone at this point.
-
He was s threat in behind, could deliver off both feet, took set pieces, etc. There's a decent player in there.
