  1. The only aspect of his game I'd suggest is a bit average or even below average is that his shots seem to lack power, even a couple of his crosses seemed to take a lot of effort (though one still led to a chance for ASM) However the above doesn't affect what he's in the team for and I can't wait until we have a top striker and RW to see the best of him
  2. I did find it strange how confident people were that Man-U would beat Everton Man-U are shite Man-U missing out on top 4 will be funny so I don't mind them losing
  3. Waiting for Burnley to beat Norwich to start panicking again
  4. Huge win, whilst Spurs was a shit show the Everton result was still annoying me so this win removes that cloud
  5. Not surprised in the slightest with his performance, we signed a class player and it's showing I just love the way he plays the game and the tempo at which he plays it, been crying out for such a player for ages If we can get a few more players on his level this summer then we'll be laughing next season
  6. He had a poor game in that his dribbles weren't as a successful as they usually are, his passing was poor (that one that was meant for Burn but went out of play was bad) and his shooting was crap but he was trying, don't think his decision making was an issue but the execution of the dribbles, passing and shooting wasn't great I'll never be overly critical of a player that tries things and that's what he certainly did tonight Give me that ASM performance over your bang average wingers that run to the full back and then just pass it back And that touch in the build up to the penalty was lush
  7. Good pen, great build up to the foul and that touch from ASM was lush
  8. That touch just before HT when we won the free kick was horrific and unfortunately it's not an anomaly
  9. Get rid because his dribbles aren't coming off as well as they normally do? Ridiculous He's been passing the ball, the issue is that he is getting tackled but I'll never criticise a player that tries to take players on
  10. Yes I do agree with that, for us to be in trouble we have to not win again, which is pessimistic to the extreme Hopefully we can win tomorrow night and everyone can just relax a little
  11. I think you've misunderstood his point If say we pick up 4 points before the Burnley game and Burnley pick up 4 more than us (so 8 points) then they overtake us with a win on the last day It reminds of last season and Fulham, they just needed to gain 3 points or so on us to take it to the last day
  12. He's saying they need 4 more points than us prior to that game, if they do that and then beat us they will pass us
  13. Yeah, I'd go Everton win as that means Burnley stay 10 behind us with only 1 game in hand Obviously I hope we can win on Friday, followed by Leeds bearing Watford on Saturday and then Norwich beating Burnley on Sunday That would be the ideal set of results
  14. Talk of replacing him is absolutely ludicrous. If he keeps us up (as looks likely) then that is one hell of an achievement all things considered. There is talk of if we want to kick on we need to reevaluate but in my mind if we want to kick he needs to be given a squad capable of doing so. There's not another manager in the league that will kick this squad on so why expect that of Howe. He was backed in January and he more than repaid that. He needs to be backed in the summer and then we can see how much potential he has.
  15. Should Chelsea reevaluate Tuchel at the end of the season. His tactics in the second half of the Brentford game was just blown out of the water.
  16. I know you didn't, I should have been clearer for the reasons I brought him up. Fraser doesn't get double marked yet there is next to no impact from him. Fraser doesn't get anywhere close to the grief that ASM does, it was similar to the times when HBA got more grief than Obertan/Ryan Taylor. Players like ASM will get that because they are an easy target, they see a dribble attempt fail and that's an obvious (but short sighted) thing to have a go at him. Get in a top striker and RW, then I think we'll see more consistency from ASM.
  17. Completed more passes than Fraser (27 to 23) and he completed more dribbles, 4 from an attempted 10 versus Fraser who didn't attempt a single one ASM would genuinely get less stick if he played like Fraser, Obertan, Ryan Taylor etc, just run to the full back and then pass back
  18. Yeah Striker is the absolute priority and then a genuinely top level RW, that sorts our starting front three out
  19. On the 5 subs, I get why the big clubs want it but I assume for it to pass it would have needed 14 clubs to vote for it? In which case there are a lot of delusional clubs out there
