  1. Liverpool looking a tad vulnerable early doors
  2. Sadly that's an old photoshop
  3. Where can this footage be seen?
  4. I bloody hope not Something will have gone seriously wrong if we ever appoint Southgate
  5. From what I recall Allan's was more studs and a lot more excessive whilst Tripper was more of a trip Though I'm probably being a little bit biased
  6. Why are you waffling? Why don't you just answer the question? And if you are going to waffle some more then don't bother as this thread has been derailed enough.
  7. Fair enough, I stand corrected
  8. If it's rubbish you'll have a number of examples of where he's let England down? (Don't bring Everton examples as we are all aware he's had plenty of howlers for them)
  9. He's been good for England and his distribution is very good, it makes sense why he keeps getting picked
  10. Okay, he got quite lucky with the deflection, still overall the goal was canny
  11. Lush assist from Lewandowski this time, Fati with the finish
  12. Poor lad has been riddled with injuries, hopefully he can have a clear run as he can go far
  13. Good finish by Dembele to give Barca the lead Also, I really like those 8k celebration cameras, would like to see them in the PL
  14. I'm a bit of a Pep fanboy so not really objective on this but I've always said Pep is usually very gracious in defeat/draws, can be a bit odd in his interviews but he praises the opposition He was very complimentary towards us when we beat them under Rafa, even though our tactics were very pragmatic, this time we were more expansive and he gave us credit too Klopp came to the league and he was a breath of fresh air but as time has gone on he's become an absolute bore, deals very badly with defeats/draws, has digs at teams that don't just roll over for his side, can't stand him now even if I do recognise what a brilliant manager/coach he is
  15. I personally don't understand this clamour for pragmatism against certain sides, I much prefer us giving it a go and trying to get something from the game, could easily have won today but I also accept it could have been a thumping if things didn't go right but a bit odd to worry about that unless it's a regular occurrence during matches, which so far it isn't Our situation has changed, under Rafa I totally understood the approach he took, it made sense and avoiding a hammering was important because GD towards the bottom is far more critical and also getting hammered when your only aim is to just stay up can be demoralising The good thing is we aren't that team anymore, it's not just about staying up, it's about trying to be the best we can be and compete as much as possible so pragmatism isn't something to clamour for imo
  16. That's exactly what they are doing and now they have said it enough times the doylems believe it
  17. PSG winning 6-1 and Ekitike can't get off the bench
  18. They are such fine upstanding and moral citizens that they would not have been cheering City on, they care so much about Yemen that them cheering on thr Abu Dhabi regime surely wouldn't be something they do? Surely not?
  19. He was unbelievable today, so good and did it against the best team in the league. A lot of the criticism aimed at him was quite frankly embarrassing, people talking about getting rid and such nonsense I'm glad Howe is the manager right now because you know getting rid was not on his mind, rather he's worked on how to help ASM to get even more out of him I bloody love him and hope he's here for a long time
  20. They are doylems in many different ways but this has to be their strangest bit of behaviour, it's not even subtle yet the natives lap it up
  21. This is the point, they don't give a shit about Yemen (it's really about us) and highlighting the Abu Dhabi investment and them ignoring it proves that
  22. They'll bury their heads and will partake in mental gymnastics to justify it Guarantee they'll say the difference is that they didn't welcome them with open arms, conveniently ignoring that all that money is still involved in Yemen, the very Yemen they seemingly care so much about They reckon if the roles were reversed they would protest and walk away from their club but the fact there isn't even a murmur about the Abu Dhabi investment speaks volumes
  23. I would normally think that but they've looked so good and solid in their opening two games I'm not sure we'll get a flat City I don't see us getting anything from this game, think we'll lose 3-0
  24. Same and I have James too, would be a double whammy if they change it from a Kane goal to a James own goal
