  1. I mean he's not perfect and I've seen interviews where he gets very short with the interviewer (the "more than you believe" stands out) but don't generally see him complain about decisions or about the approach the opposition takes, he knows it's his teams responsibility to break them down
  2. Pep? Not sure why you are lumping him in with a bellend like Klopp I find Pep to be class, as an example look at his comments when we drew 3-3 and also even when we beat them 2-1 under Rafa whilst we played "defensive" football Pep was very complimentary towards us and I notice he is often like that even when results don't go his way
  3. He looks quality, still young so going to get better. He pinged some lush cross field passes, it was effortless There were a few runs Isak wanted to make off the last defender and Botman didn't see it, no doubt it's something Howe will work on as I can see Botman ball over the top for Isak to run on to becoming a feature
  4. I see there is often a call for ex pros to get involved as they've played the game at the highest level. I'm not sure that's necessarily a solution, the majority of football fans haven't played the game at the highest level but some of the decisions made today have been beyond ridiculous, not even subjective. The most subjective one being the Oliver one, which he stuck with. The Leeds penalty, West Ham goal and our goal were all clear, just anyone that watches football knows the officials got it wrong.
  5. Anyone that is having a go at Eddie Howe or even remotely criticising him is an absolute doylem, it's as if they didn't watch what's taken place the last 9 months and they don't watch any of the games This has been a frustrating week, I've felt angry and frustrated but that's been with the officials and the behaviour of Liverpool, not with Howe It's the opposite with Howe, I'm incredibly proud of the job he's done and clearly how far we have come under him as manager. We've been very competitive and played a lot of good stuff
  6. Ashley bloody Barnes, should have made it 2-0 moments earlier
  7. Barnes should have finished the game off there
  8. If there is no one else to take the last spot then it does make sense
  9. This People trying to justify it because they let X number of players go. Signing 6 full backs, 3 each side (assuming Aurier signs) is not normal and doesn't seem like it's part of a plan I at least admire they are going for it, just not convinced it's well thought out
  10. And their agents fees, must be some hefty amount
  11. I don't think we'll regret it Obviously we have areas to address in the squad but it was never going to be done in one or two windows Plus I suspect a lot of what we did in January would have been intended for the summer but was accelerated due to the situation we were in
  12. I think if anyone showed interest in him we'd sell but he's not very good so they aren't He still has 5 years left on his contract so unless we pay it all off he'll be stuck here a while
  13. From Dennis Wise scouting I get young Trippier vibes, also scored a canny free kick Perfect for him to learn from Trippier, doesn't take a squad place so it would be a canny signing
  14. A vague tweet, people get excited, nowt happens, fast forward a few weeks/months, rinse and repeat
  15. Oh aye, for some reason I thought he was more left back
  16. Coufal is first choice, who is next? Daft from West Ham not to have him as second choice
  17. We could set up similar to how City did with Haaland and Alvarez, plus in some games season before last didn't Wilson play to the right a bit? When Graeme Jones joined and we did the split striker thing (Not sure if I'm imagining this)
  18. His finishing was the most impressive thing, to make Allison look so average in those moments takes some doing
  19. I've seen Liverpool do it before once they are up in a game, it's just called clever game management when they do it Obviously it's a rare thing for them as they usually outmatch most teams they face We've seen this arrogance from Klopp a lot over the last few years, the way he was upset that Spurs dared to take points off them last season I don't blame teams when they waste time against us, it's the responsibility of the referee to book players if he feels that is happening, not one of our players was booked for it I really hope their season collapses
  20. I'd take Moura on loan as it would push Murphy down the order but not sure I'd want him on a permanent or with an obligation to buy He's been getting slower and slower, his pace is his biggest asset and at 30 it's only going to go one way
  21. I've never understood how excited people get with his vague updates
  22. Same, I genuinely want Everton to get a result against them on Saturday now
