I don't know why Marveaux doesn't get a run of games, you lack creativity and even though he hasn't been too consistent he hasn't been given the chance to get form, unlike others. He's a good footballer.

Sikhs are from Punjab which was divided during the partition. The few sikhs in pakistan speak Punjabi and possibly Urdu, but the majority of Sikhs (19 mill in India and half a mill in the UK) speak Punjabi, not Urdu.

Although Urdu is the official language of Pakistan, Punjabi is widely spoken, which isn't a surprise considering the Punjab region makes up over half the population of Pakistan

Remy in / Ba out is a great piece of business considering the enormous problems we've had accommodating 9 and 19 along with Ba's knee of Damocles. He's exactly the kind of player you want to sell in his prime because his value will plummet like hell at the first sign of decline.

 

Debuchy is obviously a great player but I'd like to hear talk of a left back. I'd love to see Santon over on the right where he can really let rip. Just a thought but Debuchy is a very capable centre-half (as well as being ok in midfield if required)... Not sure to what extent he's any enthusiasm for playing there but I'm told he's very good at it.

 

I'm about to go and check but if there isn't a transfer window thread there really should be...

Lots of rumours and comments will fly about BUT I would be shocked if we sign more than 1 player. Pardew has already told us as much, expecting more than that is just optimism of the highest order

Santon is more than fine at LB, the problem is the guy playing in front of him is pretty useless. The amount of times Jonas passes to him and just stands there, making no movement and giving Santon an option. Santon is then double marked, he certainly could do with sorting out his crossing BUT the quicker solution would be to play someone competent ahead of him

His class is showing through now, another good performance from him. Took a little while (no big surprise) to settle in BUT he is looking the part now, just a shame most of the others around him are either out of form or not footballers

He is a liability, offers absolutely nothing going forward and now doesn't have the energy to help out defensively. He is an extremely limited footballer who got by due to his acceleration and energy, that has deserted him and he looks shocking now
