  1. Also forgot to say, we should've had a penalty first half. Tom Field was tripped at a corner. Couldn't see the one at the other end though. Cheers you too.
  2. Thoughts on the game: Possibly a bit biased towards Brentford but I thought we were at least deserving of a point and probably should've won? At 1-1 we definitely looked like the only side who were going to score again I though. Had our two best players on the bench in Jota and Hogan. Hogan would surely have slotted some of those chances Vibe missed and Jota probably would've made a difference. Josh McEchran had a very good game for us, even though he did give it away for your winner. Dummet looked very suspect for you, all over the shop at points in the first half. He really panics on the ball when under pressure and just pumps it anywhere. Jack Colback is cack, honestly wouldn't take him at Brentford. Great finish for both of your goals. With Gayle/Mitro out and you guys desperately needing a striker would make a lot of sense to go for Hogan? He's literally guranteed goals in this division. Anyways everyone have a good day out? Enjoy the ground/pubs? I've never seen the New Inn as rammed as it was yesterday. Fucking Geordies bursting out the windows. Lasse Vibe is a shocking shocking footballer. He tries hard and he's intelligent in that he has good movement and makes good runs, but other than that he's fucking shit. He's not good enough for Brentford let alone Newcastle. His finishing is absolutely appalling, so uncomposed in front of goal. It's hard to imagine how he's made it as a professional footballer who plays in attacking positions with such a disgustingly weak shot on him.
  3. Cheers Steggy. Are there any bars in particular for away fans to steer clear of? Nah, all Brentford pubs make a point of accepting both home and away fans, even for QPR. A shame that the chav cunts don't return the favour.
  4. There's plenty of pubs in the area, more than the ones on the 4 corners (there's actually only 3 atm as one is being refurbished). The 4 corners are fine, but there are better options within walking distance. Express Tavern, The Globe, The Plough Inn and Ealing Park Tavern are all decent. Enjoy it people it's actually a cracking away day.
  5. Brentford win is unlikely. We've been poor for a while now. Relatively solid at the back but going forward we look rather useless.' Seriously lacking in creativity, we've been so reliant on Hogan for goals that I think no other player has more than 3. And I imagine Hogan should be gone by then so really no idea how the fuck we'd score. If Newcastle don't win then something must have gone seriously wrong in those 90 mins.
  6. Need a random favour, has anybody got a copy of Jaap Stam's autobiography?
  7. I work at Ball Street which is a network of fan channels. Arsenal Fan TV is one of the channels under our umbrella. The guy who runs it, Robbie, is actually sound as. Both DT and Troopz play up to the cameras and they've both developed their own little following.
  8. It's Cole and Owen, and Newcastle is the club in both cases.
  9. Have a crack at this. V tough though.
  10. You don't say. Wey you did tbf. Unless you're agreeing that West Ham have no culture, which is canny mental. No, I meant that they have shit culture. Hmm, I'd disagree like, what with most of their team making up the '66 winners and them being a long-standing club with a large fanbase, but each to their own. Their fans are arseholes - that's enough for me to make that judgement. Behave. Whether you like their fans or not, to say West Ham is a club without culture is just drivel.
  11. V interested to see how this pans out. So far this season Brentford have looked really solid at the back but slightly lacking in ideas going forward, fairly good at grinding out the results and can get nitty gritty if needed. It can all get quite static when we're trying to attack, but have generally had just enough to get past most teams at home and scrape some draws away. Recently there's been a couple of games (Preston 5-0, Reading 4-1) where everything has come together and we've steam-rollered the opposition, but it feels like we haven't really hit our peak yet. Scott Hogan is an absolute goal machine, so keep an eye out for him. Superb at sniffing out half chances, great movement and quite clinical. Quite a few clubs will be considering him in January i suspect. Think it'll probably be 2-1/2-0 to tha toon.
  12. They are only 4 points behind us. That makes us poor. No, it means we're better because we have 4 more points. That's how tables work, if you have more points you're a better team. Genuinely interested to know how much of Brentford you've actually seen this season?
  13. Bees by far the better side second half by all accounts.
  14. No, he has a broken leg. Diminutive Winger/attacking midfielder. Decent shot/cross. Not too dissimilar to Ritchie. He actually did get selected for the Euros, before an assault from Ipswich's filthy cunt Luke Hyam snapped his leg. Was Nigel De Jong-esque. He's relatively similar to Ritchie but maybe a bit more of a ball carrier. Likes to run at players with pace. For those saying he's not quick, okay he's not Obafemi Martins quick but he's definitely not slow. His work rate is huge though he's absolutely everywhere.
  15. Type in Alan Judge season 2015/16 highlights, for his goals/assists last year.
  16. What's his actual position? He mainly played CAM for Brentford last year. In the middle of the 3 in a 4-2-3-1, and was really exciting. The season before that though he was mainly playing on the left of that. He's a bit of a drifter though he just sort of crops up all over the final third.
  17. As a Brentford season ticket holder, can I just say that Alan Judge is actually class. Arguably the best player in the Championship last year. Absolutely carried a relatively shit Brentford, 14 goals and 11 assists. He can play CAM/No.10/either wing. Buzzes around all over the final third, got a great eye for through balls, has a superb shot/cross on him and can carry the ball really well. His passing in tight spaces is really neat and tidy too. I would imagine Gayle with Judge behind him as a combo will wipe teams away in the championship. Kind of gutted he's leaving Brentford if I'm honest but I guess he's earned his shot at a bigger club and cannot begrudge him a move.
  18. He had a lot of influence on acting the way he needed to so that the headlines would be written about him. In particular the stretcher that wasn't needed and the touchline antics in the second half. Oh brave Ronaldo being stretchered off the pitch, only to spend the rest of the game bouncing around the touchline... Google the injury man. His knee was twisted inside out. It's probably a cruciate.
  19. Suprised people have never heard of him. Regular starter for Bournemouth last year, scored a goal of the season contender and was instrumental in getting them promoted the season before. Anyways good signing, will be one of the best players in the championship.
