    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I think they were pretty disappointed to lose him to be honest

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Yeah i think the reaction to all of our summer signings were of excitement except for Thiaw for some reason

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

The reaction to us signing Thiaw was embarassing and he's been pretty good I think the point I'm trying to make is that when people go "we should have signed Kelleher" yet also you only have to type his name into the search engine to see a lot on here would have been unhappy at us signing Liverpool's second choice keeper

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

People were pretty happy with the Wolte and Wissa signings and yet the reaction to us signing Thiaw was embarassing from what I remember. And only 1 of those 3 can be deemed a success so far

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

A lot of people on here claim how easy it should be for us to sign players and how we should have gone for certain players yet most of it is based completely on hindsight and at the time they wouldn't have been happy with us signing them

Plenty on here didn't want him

    Nick Woltemade

Eddie has shown very little interest in playing this formation whilst here Even when we could have played Isak and Wilson
  8. Have they decided what they're doing with Iran yet? Or just going to plough on and hope nothing bad happens to their players/ staff

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Have you seen much of Risser?
  10. Summerville and Fernandes being linked heavily with moves away from West Ham assuming they get relegated
  11. I think my point is that a lot of fans go a bit too far with their Football Manager specs on and an exciting (usually foreign) young player doesn't mean they're better for us than already more established players just because they sound sexier on paper Originally I was querying why Hayden Hackney (24 next month and never played in the top division) would be seen as a good signing yet 25 year old Curtis Jones (England international, CL experience, twice PL winner) is written off as not a good signing
  12. Yet Brighton and Bournemouth haven't got anywhere near winning trophies or qualifying regularly for Europe like a previous poster said
  13. We paid huge amounts of money for those players
  14. Probably triggered an obligation cause to sign him after promotion
  15. Of course you are but it's not as easy as that though is it? Otherwise Brighton and Bournemouth wouldn't have to sell their players every year
  16. I'm just playing devil's advocate a bit but I think if you just buy talented youngsters then you end up as a bit of a Brighton, Bournemouth type club I'm not convinced anyone can say Hackney has a higher ceiling than Curtis Jones
  17. This is true but they may be significantly better players than those who've never played top flight football
  18. A higher ceiling than England international and Premier League winner Curtis Jones? Hackney is only a couple of years younger than Jones and never played in the top flight
  19. I think people have a dislike of players who play/ played for one of the big 6 clubs Maybe because we see them every week they're less exciting than a foreign youngster. Or that if they're not good enough for one of the elite clubs they aren't good enough for us either
  20. Find it interesting that people would rather Hackney who has never played a minute in the PL over 2 time winner Curtis Jones
  21. Stinks of Scott Parker to West Ham if they go down
  22. Doku is a really fantastic player Not sure I've ever seen someone as good one v one
