Great first touch if it's directly at his feet If he has to use any other part of his body or even remotely stretching for it (like with Bruno playing a clever ball into the box to him on Sunday) then we're yet to see how great it is

You're probably looking at a Berbatov type player which don't exist any more Even if you think of current good strikers in the Prem now, there's none that are both slow and weak
  3. As its effectively a Trippier testimonial, I'd be up for playing him, one of his kids in goal and 9 of his girlfriends

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Christ had no idea Harry Wilson is 29 Thought he was about 25
  5. That Villa performance last week has kept Spurs up

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

    Bournemouth link again
  7. Shocked by that fact that Spurs have been in their new season for 7 years Time is just flying by
  8. It's pretty much the same group of lads and staff that won us our first cup in a generation and provided us with the opportunity of a knockout game against Barcelona The same group of lads and staff that have got us in the Champions League twice and a runner up in the League Cup and another semi final only to be beaten by Man City The same group of lads and staff who were on the verge of relegation before their collective effort. Trippier, Bruno, Dan Burn - are you saying these lads don't deserve a lap of appreciation? Thankfully some of us haven't been blessed with such a short term memory and haven't become spoilt
  9. Spurs win tonight means if we win on Saturday we've relegated West Ham
  10. We started like a house on fire against Sunderland
  11. Can't say I've noticed much of that in recent years. Not any more than any other stadium anyway
  12. We're usually still winning or drawing by 80 mins
  13. Do people really drift off after 80 mins? I can't say I've really noticed that unless we're getting battered
  14. I'll absolutely be staying. These lads have tried their hearts out for a number of seasons for us. We've played Champions League football and got to another League Cup semi. It will be the final chance to applaud someone like Trippier who was a transformational signing and probably others who will leave in the summer. We don't demand a team that wins, we demand a team that tries. Let's not forget how much we've fallen back in love with our football club because of a ropey season

5-3-2 would have made more sense yesterday with the personnel on the pitch
  16. This is a strawman. You asked what more we could do on a training pitch and people have given examples for how we could change things but ultimately that's down to the coaching staff It felt like we had slightly turned a corner last week when we proactively went to a back 5 against Brighton to shore up our lead. It very nearly didn't work but it did and we got the 3 points. The Brighton game is an anomaly though. Conceding late goals has and is continuing to happen every game. A depleted Forest team who have played 4 games in 10 days should not have more energy and better fitness than us to look like they were going to win the game if the match continued for an extra 5 minutes.
  17. He could have taken off the player who had just been clattered?
  18. We've got absolutely no chance

Bruno played the ball to him and he couldn't control it to get a shot off. He gives us very little energy
  21. I have to say "well he's not on the pitch" is one of the daftest things I've read on here for a while in defence of a manager
