    sunderland

They've had a very good season despite the loss last night but people are right that they are unlikely to have the quality of a Diallo again next season. Their owners have a model of investing in young players playing good football which is completely different to Sunderland teams of the past. However you do wonder if it's sustainable and if expectations have risen too much too quickly as I can't see the fans being happy if they don't get playoffs again next season
  10. Probably helps they're facing a team full of midgets
  11. Would be a great two fingers up to Watford if he gets promoted this season with Luton

    Dogawful Officiating

    Jones wasn't clearly offside
  13. Well yeah Jones benefitted but it's not in the laws that players have to be onside at all times. If the ball had gone to Jones he'd have been given offside but then he got himself back onside (just) for the pass so it's absolutely fine
  14. It's the same phase of play but the ball wasn't passed to Jones it was passed to Salah so it doesn;t matter where Jones was
  15. Of course he's not offside in that phase if the ball is passed to Salah
