I don't think he's anyhere near his best at the moment but I'm surprised to see so many people wanting him dropped. He's pretty much carried us for the last 2 and a half years People say he has no end product. There was a game earlier this season against Watford where he should have had about 4 assists but our other players couldn;t finish simple chances. I'd describe a player with 'no end product' as someone like Jonas and ASM is a much better and effective footballer than Jonas. ASM also suffers with the HBA effect because teams can double up on him knowing that the players on the opposite side (Almiron) aren't much of a threat. ASM's goals, assists and chances created have been vital for us in the last 2 and a bit years, certainly don't think he's a 'highlights reel player' or whatever other nonsense is being labeled at him For what it's worth I think Wilson has been in poor form recently (Burnley goal aside) but certainly don't want him dropped
