He's so integral to us. His timing is fucking brilliant. He's an ugly tackler, but generally gets the ball and doesnt foul. He's a clunky runner with the ball, but he beats so many players. He looks unconfident passing, but his pass percentage recently must be mint. I honestly think, and have done since he joined, that his reading and understanding is extremely good. Which means his completion percentages are high. Apart from shots on target, obviously. Which is a shame I love him.

Why do we need to talk about this guy ever again? I dont get it.

Enjoyed that. I really hope he scores a few between now and the end of the season, yes for us but just as much for him. Would love him to score a worldie that won us a game or something. I think with a bit of confidence he could really contribute to the team more than just being a body in a position, which he's done really well anyway. Would be nice to take players like that along with us and help them improve as we do and be a positive impact on their career as well, rather than just expecting to take from them if that makes sense. There's not much better than hearing or reading about ex Newcastle players say how much they enjoyed it here and how many memories they hold. Been a while since we had that.

He never had a smart enough manager here to realise he wasnt a traditional winger. Often showed how intelligent a player he'd become when he played for us imo, we never used him right though. Maybe he took a bit to mature in to it too, mind.
