F**kng good. He's not a Prem player and would have been a waste of money we don't have

Aye, we haven't even had our annual run of 5 or 6 poor games, hope it isnt due against the baggis, forest and leicester!

This will be great...imagine watching highlights of Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, Barsnley, Wednesday, Sheff Utd and Donny on a Monday night! Oh and don't forget the Spireites! Get out me Sombrero and sip on a Caipirinha for some samba football!

Thats astonishingly embarrassing! -
They will appoint the interim one that got them the result with scousers today for sure. Just saw him interviewed on ITV, he looks confident and intelligent compared to many English managers. Reading look like a big side with pace as well, so I doubt we'lll bully them. We'll do well to win this one if we continue with our current tactics. I think its considered incorrect grammar to term what we have been playing as 'tactics'. Desperate and clueless is what I'd say..........Neander-ball

Aye glad to see him get the accolades he deserves from us. Best partnership we've had in modern times bar Shearer and Ferdinand, and we've had some scorchers. Loved the fire in his belly and his never say die attitude! He's just an honest man. Good luck to him. Dont suppose he fancies a move back here

Nolan as an out an out striker or a 4-4-1-1? Because if it's our "away scrappy 1-0 win formation", we'll leave Lovenkrands on his own up front for large periods of the game and end up playing the long ball to him. Nolan as an out and out. That way we get good cover and organisation in the middle from Smith, good passing asd vision from Guthrie, a decent ball in from the right, our best option on the left, Nolan up top will get his goal and not waste a position in midfield and Lovenkrands just because he's Lovenkrands. Pace, creativity, high possibility of a goal, energy. We couldn't do it away from home but we'll play good football with this team...surely. I'm pleased with the points we have but what everyone is saying is right. We need to take it to teams and beat them on merit, not because they're shite!
-
did I read that right? You're spot on like Ronaldo!!! And Ameobi only guarentee's a goal as his in the box with a team that'll beat the defence and pass it to him or put in a good cross/corner etc. All our strikers but Ranger would guarentee a goal if they start ahead of Ameobi.....I reckon sell hi when his stock will be highest. Cant stand him!
-
We didn't win because we we're playing Ameobi...regardless of his goal. We only play long ball with him and he's such a lazy twat with a rubbish touch, no speed, no creativity, no passing or crossing, can't hold it up and loses it more than Butt! Its outrageous that Lovenkrand didnt play! If we'd played it along the floor at all we'd have ripped them apart. The ball hoofed like that is always going to end up 50:50. If we passed and moved we'd have waltzed through that lot. We were atrocious! only players passing along the floor were Colo and Enrique. Pancrate was very poor, Butt was our best player second half because he was always having to intercept their possession then give it away again...it was them against Butt really. Piss Poor! Very poor decisons from Hughton today. He needs to grow a pair and drop people! Signed on a free from Germany.....LOVENKRANDS

Realistic Transfer Targets January 2010
Super Duper Branko Strupar replied to Howaythelads's topic in Football
Both are very good players in this league, how is it a nasty feeling? Its not nasty as such. But in the position we are in, the future we may well have, and the current players we have, we want to buying buying players to start ahead of a weakness rather than be squad players. Simpson fits into that bracket, Harewood doesn't. -
Our fans are clearly the best in the land...

I'd quite like to see them give away 200-300 free tickets to different youth teams around the area each home game. Could take 200-300 corporates out and put normal seats in there to compensate. -
Why are rugby people so sanctimonious/superior ?
Super Duper Branko Strupar replied to Benwell Lad's topic in Football
The reason why football is the best and hardest sport in the world is one simple fact. You use you friggin feet! How easy is it to do something with your hands. I wouldn't wank half as much if I had to use my feet! -

Its a family affair. Not many rugger's won't be generally inbred Rah's. Honestly, living in Leeds full of Rah students you really see why it can be like it is sometimes. It is quite a generalisation though. -
I do really hope West Brom get 2nd. They deserve it. They've been far better than other championship teams nearly everytime they've gone up and played a lot better than a few Prem teams each time they've gone down. How its even allowed that Hull and Stoke stayed up over them last year regardless of where people finish is beyond me (Although Stoke are showing this season they do deserve to be there. West Brom are well supported, attractive, and I even like the players they have. Cardiff will probably go up though I really don't want them to. Get Leicester back and have them sign Heskey!

I'm sure I remember reading somewhere, unofficially, we'd be more than likely extending his loan and this has been spoken about with Man U. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I haven't seen this anywhere on this forum so I am wondering where I've read this...
-
I reckon Cardiff third, as they'll be in the play-off places and they're the team most likely to beat teams around them. Got some of the best individuals in the play-off teams. Can see them stepping up come play-off time regardless of whether they finish 3rd or 6th
-
Haven't we already a deal in principle to extend his loan until the end of the season? I'm sure thats been said in the past few days.

Its going to be a hard winter at Goodison Park. Moyes doesn't seem happy in that interview about having to get average loan signings
