  1. Just had a sudden brainwave whilst slightly stoned so its probably been well documented already. But we all have issues with our line up and players in certain positions. So, for home games much more than away, doesn't this solve so many problems and kind of seem sensible for our starting 11? Back 5 as is.... Guthrie Smith Nolan Lovenkrands Gutierrez Ameobi I know I dont like Ameobi but Carroll couldn't play that role, and the signing of Routledge and hopefully Moses will change this, but surely we should have played this at home for the past few months? A lá Chelsea when they had Robben, Drogba and Duff.
  2. I hope that one day you will sit up in realisation, or look back when a similar subject is brought up and think to yourself 'how on earth could I have had these views?' Otherwise I worry about your opinion and attitudes towards the more important things in life. I hope you don't get them as wrong.
  3. OK he's not brilliant on the deck, but he's better than that 27 year old piece of crap we've been employing for 10 years too many! Ameobi is the cause of the vast majority of our problems when we play, not least because we aim for him as he's made the target man, often the lone striker, so everything goes to him.....he cant control, or turn, or pass, or create! We are a terrible side with him in the team and not just because he is woeful, but because we seem to only go through this oweful excuse for a footballer. Hes an absolute DONKEY, how can no one see that?! Carroll is much better. Change tactics, tell them, no long balls, play football, pass it around, get in behind anyway you can, try different things....then we'd be amuch better side, and Carroll would be extremely more able than Ameobi would. Loop a few balls into the only Newcastle player in the box and of course he's going to score if he gets enough chances...even with his windmill flailing legs! .....................*exhale* Rant Over
  4. I can't believe what Im reading in here... We all know it, we've all said it, its not the strikers that are the problem, its the players giving the ball to them.......and of course Ameobi! It would be a fantastic window even if we dont get a striker in, Routledge alone will help all our strikers (bar Ranger) score more, even the lanky streak of P......Ameobi.
  5. Ronaldo your view of Carroll baffles me. Yes, we haven't scored many goals from flick ons from Carroll, but neither have we from Ameobi or Harewood when he was here, thats not the issue, its playing the long ball at all. Play it along the deck and still play Carroll with Lover, then you'll get some results. Cant play Ranger yet, waste of a position....and a one we're f**king struggling in to be honest.
  6. So long as he doesnt destroy his career by throwing hissy fits and moving from s**t club to s**t club.
  7. ......I said this was coming, we haven't had our injury laiden, sh*te performances part of the season yet
  8. You cant be serious, you listening to this ? Yep, not the best entertainment but sounds like one or two decent performances from the new/young players. If we can continue to pick up wins while Forest are in their purple patch, I'll have no complaints Purple patch? They've not lost since the end of September. They're just good. It will change when Earnshaw proves his shitness again but it isnt just a purple patch
  9. Ive just got in......can anyone tell me why Pancrate is on for José? and whos playing where now
  10. In fairness we haven't played well all season, maybe a hand full of games. And the answer is.............................................? Guthrie in the middle!
  11. 2 more signings afters after Williamson....... Vaughen (or another striker) & Sonko? Both loans?
  12. He wants to get his arse out of bed watching DVDs and off Twitter and do some training by the looks of things
  13. Blood hope so. Im sure our youngsters can cope against Palace at home in their natural positions especially with Smith, Colo and Enrique to help them out. Don't want to go switching players round and out of position, then your whole structures Donald
  14. Whats he like? Anyone actually seen a couple of performances? Yep, s***. I reckon try another cheeky loan bid for Diomansy Kamara, if not a cheeky £1-2mil
  15. Whats he like? Anyone actually seen a couple of performances?
  16. I know I can't actually believe this signing. It makes so much sense. Cant be an Ashley choice, theres no good places to party around QPR. Well done Hughton. Though we will run out of ex Spurs players he used to work with that will be good enough/want to come fairly quickly.
  17. I'm loving the banter between Simpson and Giles Barnes on their twitter sites..... Its like Craig David song
  18. Forgot De Ridder had left Wigan on loan, would have liked to see him. Touch of class which would have showed and developed well in this division
  19. Be f**king class if we manage to get Williamson and a decent striker with Prem experience and something to prove. Would love Fulham to sign a forward so we can get Kamara
  20. Didn't see this coming. We'll have a much better balance on the wings now and better service. Just have to figure out who to play in the middle out of Smith, Guthrie and Nolan. Good signing, he'll be decent for a season to keep us up in the Prem too (if we go up).
  21. lots on SMB seem to agree. also they cant need a cover for the fifth choice? strange signing. Taylor and Colo are both better than any centre backs that The Mackams have to offer
  22. Every article in the Sunday Sun is a stupid article. Its nearly as pointless as the Hexham Courant
