And what a classy assist it was. I can't wait for Marv' to return and give us more of the same.

Injured again? Good. We can shave a couple of million off his price tag.

What you often see is Simpson being blamed for something that was the fault of another player. Not a fan of his, but all teams have a scapegoat. Think sometimes Danny has been given that role here. I can't say I have ever come across such an occurrence.

No need to get annoyed here, but plenty of reason to be grateful for his lack of foresight.

fwiw, this isn't worthy of a goal for Parky.

How about we just have the discussion without the point scoring nonsense?

Assou-Ekotto Gareth Bale Younes Kaboul (the first time) Aaron Lennon Luka Modric Dimitar Berbatov KP Boateng Thierry Henry He was limited to British players at L'pool and that pretty much was his downfall. Even with the bad signings at Spurs, if you sell all the players he helped bring in there would be a massive profit. Modric & Bale alone would produce a 35m profit easily. Every single one of those signings was obvious, in that they were all pretty big names prior to signing.

OH f***ing YES End of. Kenny is going to get a RAWK ban for talking like that. (have also seen the downing post in its exact form on 2 other forums in the last few minutes) I laughed at this, then stole it

Just watched the highlights from the 3 major European games last night and they looked lots of fun. I particularly enjoyed the Keown-esc rant from Subotic at Robben and the classic Pirlo chip over the defence assist for Pepe's goal.

A bit north of Sac, in the valley, originally from Humboldt out on the coast. And as for you lot, I stand by my statement. We'd have quite a few more losses without Simpson's defensive quality this season, and as for not being allowed to handle the ball -- don't tell that to Liverpool haha. You can talk all the s*** you want but the fact remains that Simpson has saved quite a few sure goals in tight games and he deserves credit for that. I haven't seen anything that special from Santon in his time here, potential sure but nothing that really blew my socks off, and Simpson has pulled our asses out of the fire quite a few times so I think he's earned his place this season at least. If we end up bringing in a real left back then let Santon and Simpson compete for the job, but I don't think it should be an automatic change. Agree with this. Welcome. Obviously we need a better ball playing right back if we want to progress and I do think Santon will be our man for the future.

Fantastic result. Bit of momentum for them before the weekend.

"We've got a great togetherness about the squad, there's a lot of British players there now," Jamie Carragher said last October. "We went for a meal out before the derby and it was interesting that my wife could actually talk to some of the other wives without having to think of something in Spanish or French or something different. I think that will be a great thing for us this season."

Let's be honest if this kid has really turned the corner he could grace Barca Real Man U, anywhere! I'd love it if he ended-up at Real or Barcelona and I would keep following him. Would very much like him to wait a season or two though.

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/player/_/id/43340/hatem-ben-arfa?cc=5739 3 goals, 3 assists in his last 6 games. That coincides with him starting regularly...
-
1 less goal, 3 less assists. He'll probably overtake him in both.

You can't do it with Hatem on FIFA as he is criminally underrated. /annoyed
