I think some of the confusion comes from the fact that in the past the refs have got together to decide to interpret "deliberate" in slightly different ways - that's why we got the "unnatural position" stuff. The law has always been pretty simple.
-
Wasn't deliberate, was it? but he clearly gained a major advantage from it, does he score the goal without the hand ball? But thats not the law. In my opinion it should be though, removes all doubt about the current interpretations Yes. And perhaps more importantly, it means that you can't score a goal with your hand like that . Impartiality at its best, I'm sure. Only the best impartiality here .

Who should be in the lead now?

Don't know if this is true, and can't be bothered to check, but here: Since 1 November 2016, West Ham have played 8 games at the OS. They have scored 7 goals in that time. Since 1 January 2017, Manchester City have played 2 games at the OS. They have scored 9 goals in that time.

Arsenal spedn £25m p/a less on wages than Man Utd/Chelsea. That's a Kante, Costa & Hazard salaries away from competing. Can they afford to spend that extra though, that was the point wasn't it ? 2014-15 Deloitte has: Man U - Revenue 395M Wages 204M (52%) Man C - 353M, 194M, 55% Arsenal - 331M, 192M, 58% Chelsea - 319M, 217M, 68% Liverpool - 298M, 167M, 56% Spurs - 196M, 107M, 55% Their spending on wages as a percentage of revenue falls in line with most other top clubs - if anything, it's slightly more than their peers. Of course, you could always argue that they could spend more, but I don't think that's a fair stick to beat them with. Wenger has spent shit-loads of money on players, he just hasn't always made the right decisions.

Me too on Jesus - my forward line was Jesus-Costa-Lukaku. Apart from them and Barkley, though, it was still ones and twos... but probably doubled my best score so far .

It has been said of Klopp before. They really do have a terrific-looking run-in to the end of the season though - they would not need to pull off any particularly shocking wins to win the last eight games, after the Anfield derby. I still think they have a good chance of top four, although I fully expect Chelsea to walk away with the league.
-
Today's results, bloody hell . Actually makes that 0-0 at Sunderland look like a half-decent result. I fully expect Chelsea to piss it because they have no injuries and no Europe, so them winning was nice. The bonus is Liverpool. On paper they have an extremely kind end to the season and I still expect them to go on some kind of a run (again, without Europe), but the way they are going their matches against the weaker sides are going to be the most dangerous of all.

Fuck you, Giroud.
-
Given that they're distinctly average at the Premier League level, that doesn't bode well. Ritchie has looked pretty good, hasn't he? I've not seen much of Newcastle this year apart from highlights.
-
Slightly. I have 13 pts, with three Everton players to come.
-
Dude seriously ... have a word with your boys please. Sometimes it's hard to break down teams who get everyone behind the ball. Rose staying on would have helped, and nothing Alli has tried has really come off.
-
What the fuck was that from Lallana?
-
Kante is immense .
-
If anyone can, you can .
-
Out of the fucking way ref.
-
Scrappy as fuck. Need Eriksen to do something classy.
-
Looking worryingly like the kind of game where they snatch it at the death.
-
Dembele gets studded again (didn't think it was that bad, but still).
-
Pretty much the first thing he does is get stupidly offside.
-
You could actually be right. Here he comes!

We're trying .
