Pretty much turning it into a football stadium from what it was. 78k to 81k capacity, plus corporate boxes as you see. Closing it in too if that makes sense. If you look at where the back row of the top tier meets the roof on both pics you'll see what I mean. I think they've done a great job in keeping the stadium shell as it was but completely modernising it at the same time. West Ham should have done something similar but I suppose they're not/werent allowed
It's essentially what we said we'd do if they gave us the stadium. We promised to make it a footy stadium, then upgrade Crystal Palace to be the premier athletics stadium. Now it looks like CP might end up being demolished.
