They should have buried that breakaway chance though, can't see Leeds losing this.

Sweet, we've got Rochdale v Leeds on as well. Christ knows what the locals are making of this. Both games with orange balls too - loving this.
-
1-0 up against both? That's impressive.
-
Grimsby v Huddersfield on telly here. Huddersfield pissing all over Grimsby at the moment, but 0-0.

grow the f*** up you childish pricks Yet referees have to put up with players shouting f*** OFF in their faces, and would most likely be reprimanded for yellow carding these offences as it devalues the Premier League product. Daft thing to say but incredible that any player can be so precious when they see what refs have to deal with. He'd probably just told him to f*** OFF as well. This, so much this. After the usual tirade of abuse from Rooney this weekend as well. Pathetic.

Finally, a Match of the Day with no Liverpool bias It's beyond a joke, it really is.
-
Could have got another two today. That really looked like two decent but not really better than above-average teams today. I haven't got a lot of faith in Sherwood, but he's got a handful of awkward injuries to deal with and it appears that he's getting his head round the sort of team he should be putting out. Adebayor is an obvious bonus, but he has immediately given more opportunities to the younger players than it seemed AVB would be offering. The really nice side is that it's a young squad too. Frustrating that in this most open of seasons, we look like not having enough quality to stick with the top four.

Don't you guys usually win the games where the teamsheet gets that kind of reaction? -
Charlie Adam cripples yet another one of our players.
-
tbf some of tiotes shots could tachnically be called, balls out wide into space. They are filed under "clearances".
-
They've had one shot on goal, and that was a freekick. Not on target. Dreadful, we should be miles and miles clear.
-
Finally. I'm sick of watching these games where we piss it, but can't score.
-
Are you playing 4 attacking midfielders again? Naah, it's a proper team today. Still can't put the ball in the fucking net, like.
-
Dembele booked. Apparently being pushed by Shawcross is a yellow card offence.
-
Deux points. I rock.
-
Delayed reaction from the several yellow cards he should have got against us...
-
Me too, and I had a decent week last week. Guy I was up against was terrible but had his best week of the year - he's four thousand and somethingth in Kuwait.
-
Yeah, I'm not so worried about him. Just pissed off that I've been trying to get rid of Kolo Toure for weeks, but injuries have forced my hand.
-
Ramsey injured, Zabaleta not playing, Yaya not playing, Rooney not playing. Kolo Toure sitting on my bench. This is going to get messy.
-
This is shaping up to be a very bad week .

This is true Dave - I have stood many times at a packed SJP/Gallowgate/Leazes End and never once did I feel in danger, even during the Fairs Cup Final in 1969 when we could sway down several terraces after a goal was scored. Hillsborough should not have been used to wipe out standing and why should the views of one club - Liverpool - be allowed to dictate to the rest of football? I have my own views about what happened there and isn't it interesting that Liverpool afficionados, like the BBC etc, never mention their fans' part in the debacle v Juventus in 1985 which was 4 years prior to Hillsborough...? If that had been NUFC fans, we'd never have heard the last of it - some in the media still drag up the pitch invasion v Forest during the FA Cup tie in 1974 even though nobody was seriously injured, as a club to beat NUFC fans with... Unfortunately, the world is now run for the benefit of Human Rights Lawyers and those who make a living chasing ambulances to sign up damages claimants so they clubs are unlikely to want standing areas returned, just in case..... I broadly agree, but you're being a bit paranoid about the 1974 pitch invasion . I think that very few, if any, younger non-Newcastle United fans will have heard of it, whereas many will know about Heysel. Not that there isn't a solid pro-Liverpool bias in the media in general. It's sad that even someone as long-standing a supporter as Dave can say that he hasn't stood at St James' Park. We're heading towards a time when two whole generations will be able to say that, and I think it's a real pity. It was a completely different experience, and I feel incredibly lucky to have experienced it. We should be able to do so again.
-
So what's all this about Rooney missing out today??
-
Think it's been open and pretty good so far.
-
Stephen Reid is a dirty fucking cunt who should have been off this pitch long ago.
-
f***ing bobbly soft one too. judging by that midfield i'd get used to that I'd have said so, but it was just a ball into the box that bounced off a couple of people straight to Olsson right in front. Spawny get. It's actually been a pretty good game. West Brom look more organized, pressing and kicking people when they don't have the ball, but playing nice football when they do. We look dangerous but a bit haphazard. Quelle surprise.
