  1. What is this I don't even Sounds s***. The last Scandinavian World Cup was one of the best. Sounds ace tbh. Depths of winter would be good too.
  2. Chamakh is terrible man. s*** player who occaisionally showcases a bit of decent technique. Watching him right now, it seems unbelievable that he was at Arsenal.
  3. Hit or miss. Capable of being very dangerous, but has periods where his touch completely deserts him. He strikes me as something of an Aldi Sterling.
  4. Why? The story here is that they have expressed concerns about other African teams/fans travelling to their country, because it's an Africa-wide competition.
  5. Soldado and Kane actually link up pretty well together. God only knows how we'll play today.
  6. Relentless indeed. Apart from anything else, he's a CB who's been asked to fill in at RB when we were expecting him to warm the bench for a year. He's done amazingly well in the circumstances.
  7. Annoyingly I have Downing on the bench, but even though Rafael is injured and Naughton might miss out, I can't play two at the back . Caulker's mighty one point it is.
  8. Wow. I've been captaining Costa for a while but getting great scores from vice-captains and the bench. He's actually done worse for me playing than not. Downing on the bench this week, annoyingly.
  9. Still one of my favourite posts of all time. (I did edit it a bit for grammar though...)
  10. Hope Berahino gets an assist for that .
  11. Such a Brazilian finish flip Ok, this is going to sound wanky, but I scored an identical goal years ago. It was a cup match against a lower division team and I was rested at LM. We were losing at half time and they brought me on at CF, and it was my first touch. I just strolled back to the halfway line like a boss. CSB, but I'm an old bastard now, so I'm allowed the occasional reminiscence.
  12. He's admitted himself that he needs to improve his strength and is doing extra training. He's being played in the wrong position too. French football journos all said he's brilliant at roaming behind the forward, finding space and creating chances, but play him out wide and he'll offer nothing. That makes sense.
  13. I have to say, I'm not sure what Cabella brings to the party. Is he really young? He has a nice touch, but is weak as fuck and doesn't seem especially fast with the ball.
  14. perfect goal for the game. Lovely build-up, then a shambolic finish.
