I was going to say I hate the "chanting for the oppo" stuff, but then I remembered how much I loved Berbatov getting an ovation from some Turkish fans (Besiktas?) when he gave them a masterclass a few years back. Not in the slightest. I miss being good though, and they are two entirely different things. I'm not concerned about Poch, but the squad needs a kick up the arse, probably from the youth ranks. Poch needs to remake the team in his image. We've got too many ponderous, out-of-form or just not-very-bright players, and when you add that to a defense that is seriously rickety you're asking for trouble. Too much class in there to struggle, but some squad surgery is definitely needed.
