Screamer.

Great save, you could say.

Looks a little bit like Milan Baros?
-
Was just thinking the same. We never have this intensity It is the Scouse derby though.
-
Jeez, didn't realize you guys were the Monday game. Whole weekend to look forward to it, eh?

Who's Duff got? Kaboul at Arsenal this week is scary. I have Lloris, and I'm considering dropping him to the bench for Green.
-
Too fucking right. I hate this shit.

Even if there are three worse teams that might not be enough - Hull proved that when you went down last time.

Not worthy of a thread - 2018 FIFA World Cup edition

Every time I see this thread bump I wince and think "what now?" FIFA are a farce, and a sinister one too. -
46 thanks to my bench . Bony, Rafael, Sigurdsson and Ramsey combined to score 2 points, but luckily Sanchez & Naughton didn't play. They really need to stop giving out bonus points though.
-
I'm now second in the H2H league I believe - only two of us with 100% records. The guy just below me - Prontonization - somehow managed only 15 pts this week .
-
I am fucking sick of this shit. Every game is the fucking same.
-
No Naughton, thank fuck.

I've seen this movie time and time again.

They're really not, at least, not necessarily. "What makes people feel the need to justify [their] own actions?" The fact that, as MKSC points out, he loves a club and up until now has been prepared to shell out spectacular amounts of money, time, and goodwill to follow them. He has, like all of us, continually had to justify his own actions in doing so - to himself and his family/friends, and clearly the camel's back has been broken. Just "not going" is not going to be enough. As has been demonstrated, someone will fill that space, and nothing will change. People don't write these letters to justify their own actions, they write these letters to try to make a point to others who have not yet made that leap. They have quite clearly already justified those actions to the most important person, themselves. As have you, and others who continue to go, and fair enough. It just seems that you are outrageously dismissive of the internal debate, heartache and genuine stress that goes with making such a decision. It's harder to make a major life change like that than it is to just carry on as before. Of course, if things change then MKSC will possibly go back, as did Mike to the Knicks etc etc. It's weird that you state that the only thing that will bring change is to "stop going", yet you are effectively castigating those who do just that.

Also, this ref is bobbins.

In duller news, this game is just like every other Spurs game at the moment. All the possession, no penetration, oppo sitting back and trying to hit us on the counter. It's so fucking predictable.
-
MKSC, any chance you could resign from today's FF matchup too? Only joking. Good letter.

Ohhhh wheeen theeee Spuuuursssss I grew up among Spurs fans in a mainly Spurs/ Arsenal area. They are mostly w*****s, loud and full of themselves. Edit: Apologies to Leffe btw. I'm sure he's not one of the w***** types. No worries. We all have them. I remember being really embarrassed going home from a Villa v Spurs match when I lived in Birmingham a few years back - a couple of utter cunts on the train from Witton made me ashamed to be Spurs...for a few minutes at least. I was also one of two Spurs fans in a pub in Sutton Coldfield for one match and the guy was fucking awful. He tried to latch on to me (I was with some non-Spurs mates) spilled some girl's pint and was such a total arsehole that my enormous Weegie mate offered him outside. He legged it, thank fuck, he'd have been torn apart.

Naughton on the bench. Stay there, please.
-
I love seeing the top team of the week - particularly the Sat night one. The guy who thought it would be a good idea to captain Ozil.
-
It looks so much better as long as Downing comes off the bench for Sanchez (guaranteed) and Caulker for Naughton (not guaranteed). If that does happen, then it's 29 points with Lloris, Rafael, Schurrle and Captain Rooney to come. If not, then it's a big pile of poo.
-
I have six players "playing", and two points. If Naughton gets a game tomorrow it's all over.
