Jesus. Anyone else watching the Man U game? They could have had five already.
-
Could be argued that he won the Liverpool game for us with those two tackles on Torres though. He's been OK.
-
Heitinga should slot in or is he injured? Injured and doesn't want to be here. We might get to see a bit of Tony, get in! Ouch, massive blow for you guys. How come Heitinga is unhappy? Don't know for sure but seems to think he has a right to be starting every game. Last season he got increasingly better but this season he hasn't looked interested. Also said he was rather pleased when other teams (Bayern, apparently) expressed an interest, albeit they were probably just rumours. No space for people like that.. but if we can get him back quickly we may have no choice. When does Cahill go away? [/too lazy to look]

I was going to say Robbie Keane but held back, because he has hardly played. Probably a fair shout though.
-
I'm tempted to say Dunne now, but we play them in a few days so that would be asking for trouble. Chimbonda? Brummie might say Sidwell. We're looking for someone who just looks out of their depth. Perch probably comes closest.

Bluemoon is exactly like RTG. Knacker central and grossly disorganised. The categories, the low level of debate, the excessive quantity of threads! Will someone think of the children!? I've been reading them for a while, they hate us. Some decent guys, but some of the sense of entitlement has to be seen to be believed. You won the lottery ffs, have some decorum.

Bloody Hell. Glad l'm not an Everton fan watching this.
-
Just got in, was it a legit red? City are such lucky, detestable cunts.
-
Come on lads, turn them over, break some legs and get some red cards out of them.
-
Yeah, not sure they'd be doing so if they were losing.
-
Apart from buggering up that shot, thought Klasnic was excellent.
-
Can't remember seeing many better ones ever tbh.
-
A lot depends upon our injuries.

Its not. It will be tight, competitive, and physical. I doubt there are many goals in it, and Lucho is better than anyone ManU will be displaying in midfield. Inter-Bayern should be a good encounter between two midtable sides in their respective leagues. Absolutely. Anyone who thinks there's easy games at this stage is either a fool or deliberately building a straw man. well chelsea cophenhagen is a bit easy I dunno, Chelsea are starting to get some form and players back.

Aye. Reckon it'll be a hell of alot closer than most are saying it will be, and Barca will nick it by a goal. Wasn't there all this carry on when Arsenal drew Real a couple of seasons ago? And Arsenal defended well and ended up nicking it? They had Terry Henry then though. Who the f*** is Terry Henry? That's probably the only bite that has EVER got in the Internet. Congratulations.

While I'm on it, apparently Jenas may be back, although Palacios and Kranjcar are now injured (not that that makes any difference to people's fantasy teams).

Physioroom.com is the best to keep uptodate on that kind of stuff. Was in training this week, I'd expect him to be a sub if we play - although as it's Blackpool I don't know if the pitch will pass muster.

Vilarreal, Zenit, Spartak, Twente, Ajax, Braga, Stuttgart, PSG, Porto, Sporting, CSKA, Leverkusen, Kiev and one of PSV or Metallist. Thanks - well you never know, there are a couple in there that look awkward. I'd love to see them go out of both cups, then try to keep everyone happy.

Still lower than ours, give them time I guess. Maybe not any more, what is yours? This guy usually makes for good reading (despite being an Arsenal fan): http://swissramble.blogspot.com/search/label/Manchester%20City Just edited my post, our wage bill is 220m euro (185m pounds). This however, includes the wages of all our sporting sections (football, basketball, handball, roller hockey, etc...). Cheers.

If Man City get through in second, who could they face?

The blog Swissramble.blogspot.com pulls them together. As said above, 133M in 2009/10 (107% of turnover). By way of comparison, Man U's was 132M (46%), Arsenal's 111M (50%) and Spurs' 67M (56%). Remember, this is last year's figure. Some others from the previous year - Chelsea 149M (68%), Liverpool 90M (57%), Aston Villa 61M (77%), Everton 49M (62%). City's will almost certainly have gone up loads for this year, although increased turnover will offset it somewhat. It would be nice to think that Tevez leaving will mean they miss top four, but even if they do it will not make much difference (other than guaranteeing a Mancini sacking).

I'd forgotten Man City even had some of these players. What an insane squad.
