Under current management? We probably are. Its just limiting expectations isnt it. If he mentions the potential for Cabaye to be off 7 times during the window & someone finally bids as a fanbase we're more accepting of it due to the expectation in comparison to it being a shock. Ashley wants his money back but he also wants his asset to keep a good status so he can get a good price in future, so we buy decent players for cheap, increase their status over here, sell them for big amounts, then reinvest part of the cash in similar replacements who he thinks can follow the same pattern. Hopeful outcome being we always do decently & he always makes a profit on who we bring in. All he needs then is a manager who will buy into letting his better players go, whilst also trying to get supporters to do the same.

I do think we have worked on our passing a little. We were playing some decent triangles at 1-0 down, good movement in midfield. Didnt last long like as 2-0 seemed to knock the stuffing out of us & they started having strops. Be good though if we saw more of that, theyre capable if they stay confident.

Agree, wasn't that bad today overall. Few moments of dodgy play, but on the whole when he kept it short he was pretty tidy. As others have said he just tries to do to much, he should sit back and let others create. I expect him to have a better season this year.

He's a luxury player, fits on the end of nice passing play well. Through balls on the floor, chipped over maybe. Chipped crosses, long balls, back to goal nonsense will never work. Hes to weak & gets demoralised to quickly. We need a bigger lad if we're to play like this.

Confident, theyre great. The first signs of doubt, they dissapear. Thats the issue, probably related strongly to our lack of comebacks going back however long it went. Understand Cabaye on the one hand, wants to go really & this is his chance. On the other hand, really? On the night of our game? Talk about supporting your current teammates. The guy has just helped his current club lose.

Turboshite today. He's been weak in moments, but its the same old. He barely gets the ball, so is to nervy when it finally arrives once every half hour, so he flaps or tries to do something outrageous. Or just stands amongst 4 taller defenders hoping a poor cross will ricochet right infront of him.
