  1. Finding a lot of lines between our midfield & defence to pass through
  2. Genuinely. Shame that we're being made a mockery of. This is what i dont get. As if being miserable as fuck beforehand makes it better when it happens. We all suffer regardless.
  3. Ashley wont sell below a certain price, Cabayes far more likely to improve his status this season. Plus hes shown his top end potential in enough momentary flashes that his minimum value is unlikely to drop much lower really regardless. Arsenal are taking the piss really.
  4. You're wrong on so many levels, I can't even be bothered to get into it! (Unless you're trolling) I don't understand all the hysteria either. Look at the squad- we've got an excellent goalkeeper, in colo the best cb since woodgate or arguably ever in modern times, 4 senior cb's, 2 international attacking fullbacks, 2 young fb's, 4 international central midfielders, one being linked to the best/richest clubs in Europe, Ben arfa who'd pretty much get in most teams in the prem and champions league and cisse who is a pure goal scorer. Remy has good very good at qpr in this league and hopefully continues for us. We'r one striker and some decent tactics away from having the best group of players we've had in years! Yeh pardew has a lot to prove, along with tiote etc but its a new season, all get a clean slate and see what happens I understand the frustrations going around. The whole Kinnear thing, come on! Mike Ashley is pissing all over the supporters with that s***. Pardews tactics are horrible. This is where the criticism should be. I just dont agree with criticizing the squad. The squad is as described one striker away from being really really good. Lets also hope this new physio can make a difference and stop our injury history. You guys with your positivity, what are you trying to achieve? Happyness or something?
  5. Its more that they dont have a lot of power in the situation, given his contract will expire soon they're taking a risk trying to negotiate to this extent atall. Their next option would be the current extension theyre attempting or to sell in January potentially at a lower amount than theyve been offered now. Depends on how desperate currently interested clubs are to add him to their side at that time.

Ashley has put a setup in place where he simply doesnt believe it is necessary to spend as much as other clubs to achieve in the same manner, arguing with his system is only worthwhile if you believe the quality of player we're getting in isnt good enough. Most think our side is pretty decent & Pardews the issue afaia.

Personally think lack of preparation is the main issue, we heard how they plan an entire weeks worth & spend most of that on defensive work. We also saw the result of that being that we had a strong season defensively in the majority of games bar a few. I dont much believe thats a coincidence myself. He didnt deal well with Europe affecting prem games, hes not the best manager in the world. He is quite defensive & i do think he should find this upcoming season easier which is better for everyone. Our defensive record last season was terrible, nearly the worst we've ever had. Europa we were quite strong defensively tbf but in the league we let in 71 goals, that's just shocking. Last season yeah, when preparation was affected.

It's a factor, it's not a vaild excuse for being s*** all season. Its a decent reason when it affects the previous seasons successful system of preperation most weeks. Football is slightly more complicated than "we're out of Europe now so we'll be mint" also, due to the fact is played by human beings and we tend to be quite reactive to things like psychology & emotion.
