He started in our 6 game unbeaten run last season, why are you writing him off at championship level? Its a bit odd. Especially given the time you've given to Dummet, who's had worse performances over the long run in comparison.

Agueros touch for his first yesterday is ridiculous, basically takes out a defence in one move & makes it look completely simple.

Their best player seems to be Jacob Murphy, keeps scoring key goals for them so need to stop him. I'd play Perez myself, started in the Brighton, Reading & Qpr games which were all our best performances this season. Play him off the striker or upfront & we play some fluid football for me. He's never a winger.

Hoping Rafa isn't starting him to justify the transfer, because he's had a while now & the taking of crosses is still very suspect. In comparison, Darlow has done nothing wrong atall & was probably the most unlucky to lose his place from last season of everyone in the squad. He was growing into the side actually, saving that key penalty & looking far more confident.

He seems a bit of a loose cannon in terms of mentality & you can imagine Rafa is more about setting a side up well & everyone sticking to exactly what he says. He's analytical, players get a level of freedom but i'm wondering if he doesn't trust Mitrovic as much with the basics. The guy does need match time though. Equally if he was getting it maybe he wouldn't be trying things like back heels in the 10 minutes he did get to prove himself.

Thought he was controlling much of the game at times, lost his way without Hayden.

More annoyed than the actual losses we've had, games like that are horrible. You're waiting just praying you hold out watching the minutes, you can tell when a game swings against you. The injuries, changing formation etc can feel you're waiting for it. s**** when it happens.

Gayle missed a one-on-one and Diame scuffed a sitter! That's why we didn't win. While that's true, the reason we didn't create more chances like that was because of the sit deep and soak up pressure attitude. We'll drop more points than we'll keep with this mentality. The Yedlin injury seemed to destroy our midfield in regards to Hayden moving, that obviously had a big affect. Obviously we'd get the injury in the exact position we have a player out already. Bit of a joke.

Obviously it gets difficult if you put yourself under about 4 attacks in a row, the defence do need A rest. Mitrovic has done my head in there, not fussed what others say. Wasn't even pressing them by the end. More annoyed by that than his dodgy finishing. He atleast provides a presence & gets us on the ball in the attacking third. Was useless by the end.
