Sorry, did he pick himself? Eh, im just saying that clearly affected peoples frustration with him. Not that it was his fault. Whether you agree with it or not, it obviously wont help if people think theres a better option. Can't honestly remember if he got more flack than other players around then.

It's not an excuse saying it didnt help his cause, ofcourse it didn't. Thats beyond obvious.

I'm talking relative to other games they've been doing less than expected in. They'll obviously see us as a chance to reprove themselves given their start, we just need to match them with mentality & a good setup.

Perez will be alright, players need confidence man. He scored 2 in the cup, set up an assist as a sub a couple games later & then was a big part in our best result this season. Our win with him upfront w Brighton also brought some very nice football. Then he had a shocking game on the wing, just needs to learn from it. He was doing well beforehand.

Need to be aware that they'll see it as a chance to rejuvenate their season, similar to wolves reaction to a big loss. We're seen as a bigger side, its their chance to prove to themselves they've got it. So they'll be up for the game. Saying that, Rafa comes across as very methodical & will tactically set us up smartly. So you have to believe we can get the results when needed.

This is it. He's looking great again down here, but he will never do this regularly in the PL. Happy he has a use for us this season and scoring. Right but he's also being managed better. His technique is above this level, he's showing that now. He wasnt before.
