Even if you think hes dodgy Pardews not an idiot, maybe he did have it put into his contract to lower our operating costs etc. But hes a manager, he's the one our results fall back on & he'll be looking to prove himself like anyone to achieve status and recognition in his own right. Hes also now got expectations from the board to finish in the top 10, he's not going to roll over if it effects his ability to do that is he. Even if you dont trust him, part of him has to be working to fight for our corner also as its in his benefit to do so.

Yes, its fully on chelsea. They havent ruled out looking for players either btw, theyve just stated they arent desperate or in any panic to do so. Ie we wont spend loads on your players if we want them.

Thing with Pardew now is that he has the added pressure from the board of being expected to finish in the top 10. So its not longer fully in his benefit to let go of his best players, even if another part of his contract was to reduce our wages/debt/costs as has been claimed before. His previous statements on tiote have been far from encouraging though.

Weren't we told that our finances going forward was close to breaking even? And hes keeping them that way in the future by covering our future expenses (players wages) fully upfront using the Carroll Money. It is being reinvested back into the side, but the way they originally suggested it would be was misleading as usual. The money is going towards stopping us from running at a loss, not largely towards transfers atm obviously. For someone whos known as a gambler, hes trying to play it as safe as possible. He isnt investing in players in the hope that their success will increase our future turnover via that success atall.
