Ben Arfa's pace & ability to pick out runs would combine well with Guti & his ability to break away. Guti has never really been complimented by that from any players around him bar Enrique who always starts behind him & those two have always combined well because of it. Nolan will get more goals before this season is over if he keeps playing either way. Both have positive/negative attributes, lets just wait and see.

Still think hes a good player. Good days & bad days, tends to step it up in the bigger games so prob doesnt always give all he can. The positives that hes been given in the past are still true, the negatives the same. Makes our first team easily atm.

In the last 5 games hes scored 3 against West ham, won us the corner we scored from v Sunderland, hit the post v Tottenham & then scored 2 fair goals & got an assist v Arsenal. If he was luckier v tottenham & Arsenal, he'd have helped us win 10 points from 12 in those 4 games, 3 of which were against sides in the top 6. Hes hardly done that badly atall to say the least. Some of criticism is a bit embarrassingly over the top.

Bartons tackle wasnt a foul but definately ended up a dangerous tackle. Not intentional though, just the way both players ended up entering the challenge. Barton comes through it with momentum & diaby doesnt read the pass so is off balance & comes at it from the side. Barton did nowt wrong. Dejong scissors Ben Arfas leg. Trapping it with one & coming around the side with another. No comparison.

Very true and imho when he gets that goal his game will change for the better He's a completely different player when he comes on as a sub compared to starting these games. Definately something to do with his confidence or the pressure involved.

Back to the Joey we know. Got his spirit back again, hopefully this gets them all back into it. Should have a great effect on morale & belief in themselves as a team again.

Basically yeah, was balanced out. We didnt deserve to win for the early defending, but for the fighting spirit we deserved something and we got it beautifully.
