Loven should be our first choice always out of the current lot. If he was played consistantly he'd be our best striker by a way i reckon. His movement is much better than the rest, combined with pace and he'll always give you chances. -
No reason to believe any defenders will be leaving. Theyve been turning down other chances at long term deals for loan signings at the back, which wouldnt happen unless theyre being viewed only as temporary cover to our first team.

Solano will be taking set pieces for them tomorrow. Apparently has been impressing in training with his deadball delivery as always. Our weakness recently has been corners, so we'll have to have our marking sorted. -
Doubt this is the last of prem clubs to come in for him. Unlikely he'll come now i think, would be very impressed/suprised if he did choose to for first team football & potential of the club compared to the others.

This is the first Transfer window under Ashley since Allardyce that we've looked to bring in players without Wise being involved isnt it. Might have something to do with the change. He probably just trusts whoevers advising him, if its Hughton our actual manager now instead of wise he'll probably be a better owner.

Having a scan today to see if it is

Really this period of dodgy form we've been in combined with getting several key injuries, might end up in giving us a much better future & team than if we'd been fine. Especially the timing of it all happening around the jan transfer window, been quite lucky.

Nearly had me there

1 Month is a good sign Enriques not to bad. Glad we've gotten more in for cover, Hughton seems to move quickly.

And he was right then to

Loven is prem quality

Highlights up on the bbc site now. Pancrates actually worse at shooting than Jonas. Nice finish from Nile.
-
Just like how he won the game against Forest. His early form was sparkling.
-
He'd be the greatest central midfielder in England
-
If we got him in we could try Jonas in the middle next to Guthrie/Smith. Would give us more legs & a very pacey side.
-
Well he has 6 goals & an assist in his last 8 league games, so can obviously find the net. Seems like hes been in very good form recently.
-
Beckford obviously wins this battle. Ranger has time on his side to go past him
-
Same, hes been linked to the likes of Arsenal & Man city have supposedly made bids. But im impressed that Hughton went for it and was backed again & who knows.
-
Great stuff. Lets get him

A rallying call is exactly what i see it is. Players can take criticism, they arent going to stop turning up because the chairman thinks the lads playing themselves towards relegation arent doing well enough. No point coming out with "oh im sure theyll improve" after 27 games. They'll be fairly aware of it & hes taken away any excuses for them. Apart from that he says he has faith in the current manager, most of its directed at Ferguson. Dont see the problem.
-
Ive a feeling Hughton will drop Nolan soon. Dont think he deserves much of this "hes an idiot who never sees what we see" style talk that goes round. He's dropped butt, hes tried Guthrie in centre mid, hes played Ranger, hes tried Nolan upfront. Hes brought in a new right winger after seeing pancrate wasnt stepping up, hes tried for a striker upfront when ours hadnt been consistant. Essentially does everything people say he should, just normally a while after we say it which is understandable as its his job as manager to show faith in players when underperforming. He'll know Nolans not been performing at the same level, same with smith to an extent. Hopefully he'll change something up soon instead of persisting for now.
-
See no reason why this would result in a bad outcome, the fans are reacting well to it & its a kick up the ass to the players. Which is all you can really do to a team thats won 3 games all season. It cant get much worse.
-
I think its class Why shouldnt he say what he thinks? If hes getting bollocked he should be allowed to defend himself and set records straight on whatever he chooses to.
-
Having a hard time looking past them right now as being anything but our main weakness even with the defensive injuries.
-
Colo sounded much more involved than the last few games, so fair play for that. Nolan needs to be dropped now surely
