That 3 - 0 defeat which could have been at least 8 or 9 oh yes it was. That was one of the worst performance from a Newcastle team I have seen in over 40 year of watching Nah. It was bad, but we've had many more like that and worse under Pardew. We were outplayed by sides in leagues below us? Thrashings were a common event under Pards.

Janmaat & Sissoko were through in the area about 5 times between them Just seems to be a combination of movement & Sissoko not being able to hit a barn door. Sissoko should have scored atleast one today. Doumbia will likely still be important for us. We wont create that many against other sides obviously & Mitro missed a sitter before his goal.

He gets it right at home & goes way to defensive away from home. Either that or the players just start crapping themselves when not in our ground.

He's actually played very well his last few appearances for us. Looks assured and calm on the ball generally, gets into the right positions also.

He wasn't really bad against Everton at all. I dont understand how people miss context like. He had no options against Everton and barely got the ball, ofcourse he'll play better when the side is set up correctly. Same with Shelvey. Its not coincidence they've both played superbly when we're not getting 10 men behind the ball.

Many a manager, including the shitty ones we love to employ, would've come here looking to play defensive and nick a win, rather than committing players forward and looking to score at every opportunity. I just think the players have had some realisation the end of last season & kept up the motivation over their holidays somehow. Vardys form started those last 10 games if you look, was doing nowt then goals & assists. Mahrez form has just come from nowhere playing the same position afaia? If anything last seasons form coincided with Pearson giving Albrighton a consistant run of games, I remember wondering why he kept dropping the lad.

Their attitude is perfect, complete opposite to us the other day. Load of new attacking signings, lets sit back and absorb. Leicester are showing so much of this is mentality.
